Vandy is sitting at 4-4 (2-3) right now with 4 games ahead. What bowl, if any, will we make it to, and how will the rest of the season end?

@ Kentucky - W
@ Ole Miss - L
Tenn - L
@ Wake Forest - W

Will get a bowl invite, and really benefit from a down year from Arkansas and Auburn (fewer SEC teams getting bowl bids).

That's how I think it'll happen, but Ole Miss and UT (UT moreso than Ole Miss) are definitely winnable games. What say you?

I agree, but I could very well see you guys go 3-1 4-0 too.

I like this Vandy team, similar to UT with some L's on your schedule but minus one game the L's were really good games.

7-5 and the Music City Bowl because I'm too homerish to predict a home loss to UT. Ever. Our offense will have to step up huge in order to come out with a win in Ole Miss. I just don't see it happening, but if Herring and Sealand keep up the level of play from Saturday, then our defense could win it on their own. I want Trey Wilson to match the record for int. returns for TDs.

That's the one I was most iffy on. I just think UT will try and put together one last hurrah before getting canned. That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all to finish 8-4.

It would surprise me (in a good way ). UT has a way of pulling out all the stops against Vandy, especially when UT is having an otherwise bad year. That being said, I like our chances at home against UT better than our chances on the road at Ole Miss. And frankly, neither UK nor WF on the road is a sure thing. That 2 - 2 scenario is the most likely answer, IMO.

At the beginning of the year? This wouldn't have surprised me. I would have figured Northwestern and Ole Miss would be wins with a win against Mizzou or UT as well, but we blew the Northwestern game and Freeze deserves Coach of the Year.

It would have surprised me even more at the beginning of the year. I would have said our odds on the road at Mizzou and home to Auburn were slim at best. While those two turned out really well, the loss to Northwestern was a killer...

I was pretty surprised at the outcome. I wasn't able to watch the game, so when checking on it later, I was definitely surprised.

Losing to Northwestern isn't a bad thing though. They're pretty good this year.

I think WF is a win it is the UK game that I question. While the Cats have not played well on the road they have been a different animal at home. They destroyed Kent State and the WVU loss was a trick play at the end of the game. South Carolina, Mississippi State, and Georgia were all ranked and they scored 17, 14, and 24 points respectively. The Cocks did not take control until the second half and the Dawgs had to go all the way to the end for the win.
