He could be our custodial engineer for the new locker room.

Three years ago yes. From all indications the effort going into recruiting at every level of the program is such that having a high profile ex head coach on staff would be riskier than the possible rewards, in my opinion.

If......and this is huge......Kirby can maintain what’s going on at UGA through the inevitable staff changes that success brings we may in for a ride that the program has never seen and has seldom been seen by many programs. The verdict is far from in but....here’s the interesting question....if you could see into the future and we win 2 nattys in 4 years.....far fetched I know.....would you swap Kirby for Saban?

I suspect that he will have another fake heart attack and resign before the other shoe actually drops.

From what I understand...or understood earlier today before I got to work, we know for certain his wife knew...apparently there is a text trail for that.

We don’t or didn’t know for sure that CUM knew...I mean, if his wife knew, he knew, but LEGALLY speaking.

Have there been any updates at this hour? Do we know more?

Is this one of those deeprig downvote experiment threads? This has potential for more downvotes than the “Sony has AIDS” thread, and rightfully so.

Someone should at least send him a gift bag for setting Florida on the road to ruin after he left.

He's definitely getting fired. This cover-up was a clear violation of the morality clause in his latest contract that was signed 3 months ago.

Besides, he can frick off. He quit on his team and pulled that "It's the big one, Elizabeth" bullshite when the Gators started to suck once ChoirBoy graduated. The talent gap was squarely his fault and he failed to prepare.

frick him.

OSU will be lucky if they don't face any title IX penalties since he has an obligation to report stuff like this to the school. At best, this shows pretty impaired judgement on Meyer's part not to quietly investigate this when it popped up back in 2015 and take appropriate action. At worst, it looks like he just didn't care and figured that he had plausible deniability (which he would have were it not for his wife's text messages).

I'm wondering this too. I assume he will but we are so close to the season that they may try to see if this blows over once the games start.

But that was because of direct NCAA violations

The optics of the #MeToo era won't let this fall off the radar.

No, he is an enabler of bad people and bad things happen at the school he is employed by.

We're in the wrong part of the SEC. Hitler was far more successful in the West than in the East.

You won't get the love you deserve for this post, and that makes me sad.
