John Smoltz calling the game with Joe Buck for Fox. Jason Heyward benched for series opener by Cubs.

Far out

I wonder who will reach post-season first...Dawgs or Braves.

Barves will within the next 5 years.

Dwags will make a "run" within the next 4, but fall short.

Barves on top.

Cubs pitcher good enough to start Game 1 of World Series, but has some kind of weirdo mental yips about throwing to first base.

I've seen enough to know that that's the painful way all this magic will end for Cubs fans. He's going to try and pick a runner off first base in Game 7 and throw it 39 feet deep into the stands.

No chance this goes 7. Cubs have thing pitching depth, but Cleveland has the bats and the momentum. They got hot at the right time. Cleveland wins in 5 at Wrigley

At the risk of saying something painfully obvious to people that have watched more than the 5 baseball games I have all year...

This Kluber dude is pretty good.

The braves had a pitcher in the 90s with the weirdo mental yips like the Cubs pitcher has. Except instead of first base, it was during intentional walks.

Can't remember his name, but he'd throw it 8 feet over catchers glove into net above back stop. On intentional walks.

I don't like to think about these things.

Will the World Series end before the CFB season ends?

His two seam fastball is absolutely filthy and sets up everything else he pitches.

Not sure if either of those are right.

That kind of stuff is hard to watch so I've erased it from my memory.

Cleveland has the bats? Didn't Smotlz say they've only scored 12 runs in the post season before tonight?

Outside of Lindor nobody is hitting for the Indians, they've relied on a couple of really good starters and a great bullpen.

Holy shite didn't realize that. If your mom was so thrilled to finally see the Braves win and gave it up to dad that night....are you old enough now to buy alcohol?

Damn I'm old.

Injuns batted .168 as a team in their 4-1 series win against the Jays.
