I was thinking more on the lines of what 25-30 MPH winds would do to a passing game. It won't stop it, but it will restrict it. That means they can load the box. Their offense is bad, but their defense looks greatly improved. (It has to be greatly improved over what they had last year)
Absolutely. However, I think we have the better OL and RBs, and our defense might be slightly more talented in stopping the run; it might be a push. All things considered, our RBs are more likely to carry a team than their RBs. Both defenses will likely stack the box because it will be damn near impossible to pass if those conditions are present during the game. This could turn into on old 1900's style slobberknocker, back when the forward pass was illegal.

If we had a FG kicker, I'd predict a 9-6 Coma-fest like MiZzzou, last year.

I hope you are right. We should stomp the living daylights out of them. I mean...Kentucky and Mississippi State beat them, and Vanderbilt played them very close. This shouldn't be a close game, but, as you said, this development could turn this game into a push, which might be what they were hoping for.
You mean....like when I was in college?

If we play in rain and 25mph wind we could see both teams going exclusively to the run while loading the box to stop the run. There would be very few TDs putting a premium on kickers.
Ham misses left. Rodrigo misses right. All we have to do is use Ham on the side where the wind is blowing left to right and use Rodrigo on the side where the wind is blowing right to left.

I think "miss" is a little too generous of a term to describe what Hams kicks do

Tie their legs together like a three-legged race, and they'll never miss.
