I blame Tiger Woods.
He made golf popular among the unwashed schlub flat-bill masses. And now you actually have stories like this about 'sick burns' and goon fan gueedos not getting the frick out of a player's way and it gets turned around on the player. As if he did anything wrong.

i can't get over him removing the Stars and Bars from his authentic General Lee. I used to play with General Lee matchbox cars as a kid. That's worse than getting a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am and removing the firebird.

I saw a guy wearing an ankle monitor during a practice round last year. They give out daily badges via lottery now. That said the guy who said that to Bubba may have been some guy whose been getting drunk all week and getting ferried back and forth to the National on his company's dime and was 10 cups in. They all like to save their cups at the national from each beer even though they're worthless. Cox automotive who runs KBB and auto trader rented out 6 houses in the estate section of Westlake this year. I know because I counted them thinking who the frick is Cox automotive? Point is all kinds of people are in there.
Bubba's caddy should have handled the situation not Bubba. There is security EVERYWHERE in that place. This Tuesday I saw a young couple take a short cut across the 18 tee with no golfers around. The minute they went under that rope boom they got clipped. Practice round tickets in one hand of each security guard and their right shoulder in the other.

What General Lee are you referring to? Was there a pilot version I'm not familiar with?

I'm picturing a mullet-headed, jort-wearing USCe or Gator fan who spent the better part of Saturday going from hole to hole looking for Tiger, only to learn that his hero of PGA Video Tour Video Game Series (the only golf Jethro has ever played), isn't included in the 2016 version of The Masters. So he tries to take his drunken frustration out on a player who will be around long after Tiger entertains strippers older than his own daughter.
