I hadn't heard that with Burton.
I have heard it about lots of '23 recruits.
I always heard that Burton was told we would open up and play a certain style of offense. 2 seasons in, it hasn't happened (we have excuses, but Bama and other teams that we beat out for his recruitment have on film to show what he wanted).

The way the real world works is there is an offer and a counteroffer. But you are too chicken shite to come out and say Burton will go higher than pickens did in our system....

Well in my world when you say something, you stick with it. All you are doing is talking then running from what you said to hide behind something that is totally unrelated.
The entire discussion has been about why Burton transferred, not who got drafted higher.
Now. Do you stand by your words or are you running from them?

If it doesnt pan out for old Burton, who really doesnt look like a top 2 round draft pick based on talent/speed, remember me saying I told you so. He is a dime a dozen in college ball above average but not special.

Why did Burton come to UGA when Bama was ranked higher in passing?
