That's a lot of words for him

Just let him talk to himself. He seems to have issues with facts, logic, and reality.

It’s his standard MO. When someone disagrees with him he just starts throwing insults.

So maybe he will, maybe he wont, is disagreeing?

All we were saying is that we understood why he went to Alabama, and that more than likely Alabama would get him more yards based on their recent history. So if you were not disagreeing, what was your point? Just say, "Yeah, probably."

Are you saying, yeah, probably? If not, then you are disagreeing.

I know. Word salad.

Nah, you throwing insults when it's not needed is disagreeing.

Makes no sense to transfer to Bama if he was looking for more passes. Mississippi State threw the ball a lot more. Sounds like he made a mistake.

Sure things dont pan out every single day, no need for a wall of text justifing the opposite.

Lets see how the season unfolds.

I think Bama has a more proven track record of getting WR's drafted higher the last few years than MSU. It also feeds the ball to it's top 2-3 WRs more.

That is an educated guess, just like the nfl people do at the draft, and things often dont work out. Which is my point, i just watched 2021 again, he may not have gotten a lot of targets, but he got some high impact targets. No guarantees at Bama.

However, if you want to pad those statistics and still have a shot at winning another championship, it makes more sense to go to Alabama than Mississippi State, does it not?

7 sentences....wall of text?

If you were prepared to do this, you would not have argued against our points. Instead you wanted to disprove what we were saying, and when we backed up our arguments all you had was, "Word salad!"

No, it's not. It's a provable fact. Look up the statistic and look up the draft results.

Yes, he did. Do you think he would have been drafted higher from Georgia than Alabama?
PROBABLY not. More likely not. Past draft history backs this up.

Nobody claimed it was guaranteed. We said based on the past 4 seasons results it is likely.

Statistics get it right as a whole but not on a one to one basis. Thats why there is busts with Nfl teams who spend millions and still blow it.

Help me understand how that applies to whether being at Bama or MSU is the better situation for Burton.

It doesn't, but at this point his heels are too dug in to admit he looked foolish so he's having to triple down.

"Bama throws the ball more than UGA does"
"Yeah but NFL team stat projections aren't always right!!!"

Because either way he took the risk to leave the bird in hand.... would be hilarious to watch sabans head explode if he packed up and headed to msu.

And what he refuses to admit is that over the last 3 years Alabama has had 5 WRs drafted in the first round. That means more initial dollars, and better guaranteed dollars.

I do believe we will open the offense up a bit more, but I also thought that last year. (Yes, a lot of it was due to the stout defense and injuries) But if I were a kid I am going with the proven product over the product trying to improve and get better.

Explain what bird in the hand you are talking about? When is the last time we had a WR drafted in the first round? Now tell us how many Alabama has had. Which program do you think has a better chance of having a first round draft pick after this season.

Right now. Let's do a ban bet on which team has a WR drafted higher. Alabama or Georgia.

I am willing to do it. Or you?

If you aren't then why would you think a kid should risk millions of dollars on it?

Had a wr who barely played for us drafted in the second round who is already proving to have an impact on the Steelers....
