Because either way he took the risk to leave the bird in hand.

Oh I'd love to know what bird in the hand you're talkign about. If anything you're just further proving you don't have a clue what your'e talking about. The "bird in the hand", the known variable you're referencing, is him being our #1 WR last year to the tune of 26 catches for less than 500 yards.

He went from that bird in the hand to multiple birds in both hands somewhere else.

Can you tell us what george pickens being drafted based on his 2019 and 2020 production has to do with how many targets jermaine burton will get at alabama?

As opposed to Alabama having one receiver drafted in the first round with a torn ACL and one in the second round with a torn ACL?

Ok. We got last season out of the way. How about some more. Are you honestly arguing that Georgia has as good or better record of getting WRs drafted?

When was the last time we got a WR drafted in the first round? because Alabama has had 5 in the last 3 years.

I will happily move on if Burton is taken ahead of Pickens slot. Mid second round to boot.

Hell one of Bamas top draft picks has stepped away from football, another waiting a long prison sentence, and arkansas's burks is potentially going to be cut by the titans.

None of which any of the people who spend millions on those picks foresaw.

Maybe you should reread what I said? Or maybe you are just typing words that you truly do not believe?

For your readin enjoyment:
Let's do a ban bet on which team has a WR drafted higher. Alabama or Georgia.

Is it possible that Bama threw the ball a bunch, because they had 2 high draft pick receivers on their squad?

So you are admitting that Burton would have a better chance of getting more catches and yards at Alabama than at Georgia.

It absolutely is. But, one was 3rd or 4th string at OSU. When he transferred to Alabama he became a first round draft pick.

Burton is hoping for the same. He has a much better chance at becoming a 1st round draft pick at Alabama than he does at Georgia.

For the record...
Burton was a 4* rated .9646 #15 in the nation WR
Williams was a 4* rated .9621 #13 WR in the nation

I am admitting that I dont think he will go higher than Pickens, who blows up your arguement by going mid second round having not played at all for 7-8 games for UGA ...

You don't have the courage of your convictions. You made an argument, and when called on it you crawfish.

If you don't believe the crap you've been spreading, just say so. Don't back away and try to change the narrative.

Go ahead and crawfish, because all you have to do wi go back into the thread to see what caused all of this.

No he doesn't. My argument centers around that I understand why Burton went to Alabama because they have a better history of having WRs drafted higher. YOU argued at the very beginning on the first page that Burton left because he was malcontent or was paid.

Now you not only want to crawfish away from the discussion but you want to reframe it?

This is your first post in the thread:
It had to be money or malcontent.
That was your argument of why Burton went to Alabama. These are your words, nobody else's. Own them.

Dude. You made an argument and I called you on it. Now you want to change it. Who coward out?
Stand by your original statement or quietly fade back into the woodwork.
