Ditka HC, Leach OC, and that guy that was at USF as DC. Press conferences and sideline antics will be like a WWF main event.

That'd be my 4 choices as well. That being said, McGarity will hire Ed Orgeron

It's going to be Mullen. UGA doesn't need to hire an unproven guy.

I say we scrap the IPF and use the money for Saban.

All week long I have heard that Kirby Smart is the man coming in to replace Richt. Will be interesting to see if that happens.

Kirby would be a bad hire IMO. Why hire a guy that is not proven?

Because that is what Georgia has always done. Why most on here think this will be different...I don't know. I hope it is, but pretty sure we will do what we always do. Hire a young unproven guy.

Kirby has been involved in a winning program for a long time. Maybe they are confident he can emulate that at Georgia.

I think Mullen is a good fit. He's done more with less talent. He would make Georgia the contender the Richt haters think we should be.

I'm sure Kirby will be our first choice, and I'd be surprised if he doesn't jump on it unless he's really happy being the #2 guy at Bama. I don't even know who else we'd go after, Houston's coach maybe, not sure we'd go after a guy like Chip and Fuente is off the table. I think Kirby is coming home and I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Kirby would be a gamble, not doubt. I can't help but to think how good our defense would be with him and Pruitt though...I mean it could work out but I agree it's a risk.
