Good way to make more money, and I agree it probably keeps people safer on balance. Let's be honest, now people just sneak in hard liquor. If they sell just beer, you have fewer people getting sloppy on hard liquor.

Out of curiosity....if people are wanting hard liquor won't they just bring that in anyway? I mean, you are all making the argument that the beer served would not be any good, anyway. I would think most would still bring their own in or still bring in the hard stuff if that is what they prefer.

Sure, the people who want it probably will continue to sneak it in. But a lot just want to maintain their buzz and don't really give a shite what type of alcohol they're drinking. For these people, beer is an attractive product.

I know I've also had more than one occasion where I lost my flask(s) on gameday, so for convenience it would be nice to be able to buy in sanford

Not trying to speak for him, but I'd assume he means that the number of people sneaking in hard liquor would go down somewhat.

Some people want a good buzz throughout the game. Of that group, a certain percentage of them would be all right with buying beer at the game to accomplish that.

Certainly not all of them would go that route, there'd be plenty of liquor being snuck in, it would just be less common.

It'd be a disaster. There are enough assholes in stands as it is.

Maybe? Don't care? Alcohol in the stadium will do little to enhance mine or most people's experience. It is a college game and not a professional sports environment. It is on a college campus. Most people do have to drive cars to and from the game. There is plenty of time for adults to consume outside of the stadium.

Oh, right. My deepest apologies. I've never drank while on campus.

And many that do drink to extreme drink before and after a gamd anyway.

I might have a beer or 2 before the game and after and I usually don't drive and would love to have a cold beer during the game...I stopped sneaking in liquor about 20 years ago.

Like I said before,I highly doubt you'd be allowed more than 2 beers at one particular location and the concessions are so poorly run I would doubt anyone would want to make more the 2 trips maximum to buy a cold one.

Gotcha. I don't drink. Just never felt the need. So, I was wondering. Thanks for your answer.
