Just on the Rant. Y’all go nuts here.

Sadly Trump proved to be his own worst enemy. People voted against the man, not for Biden...not against Trump's policies but against the man. Much like the vote against Hillary, people just don't like the way Trump acted as the President of the United States regardless of what he got accomplished.

Trump and covid are disliked more than Biden and Harris are.

Unfortunately, you are correct

So how in the world did he get 5 million more votes than '16?
Trump lost because the dumbass SOS decided junk mail voting was gonna be an option for this election.
He needs to resign immediately

To me, it's Harris that's the real threat. I don't see how the left can talk about what a shitty person Trump is, and then turn around and support Kamala Harris. She's an enormous piece of shite.

That played a huge role in it as well, people who never voted had an easy way to do it. The ones that voted for Biden normally voted against Trump's act, not his policies. I know friends that were voting against him and every time you asked why they either parroted MSM or said his tweets. You show them a policy with a no-name at the top and they overwhelmingly prefer Trump to Biden.

This^
My wife is pro trump
But she says that his stance on covid cost him the election.
I asked what policy she is referring to and all she can point to is his rhetoric.
People are tired of Trumps rhetoric. But even his policy on things like the corona virus are popular.

Exactly why Republicans kept the senate and unexpectedly picked up seats in the house while getting steamrolled in the presidential vote. People split their ballots unlike any election in modern history.

Virginia, Georgia, Texas have become/are becoming perennial blue states like California because of demographic shifts.

And she'll take over by June 2021. Biden was nothing more than an empty suit to get her in the White House because she's unelectable on her own.
Dumbasses vote for president like it's a personality contest when people should be voting on policies.

Just read where the two senate runnoffs will allow early voting and mail in voting too. We are screwed. The cheating machine will help push the Dems in those two races. Corruption has entered Georgia and its here to stay.
I wonder if Biden is in on the game. Does he step down for health reasons next summer, or does his own party remove him?

I posted this on the Poliboard but will share it here:
Yep, it was a perfect storm for Democrats seemingly aided and abetted by China. But even if it was dumb luck, Covid-19 has changed the political landscape in the U.S. which was already inevitable regardless.
Liberal progressive Democrats have everything going for them:
1. Big money donors.
2. Big money tech companies controlled by liberals which filter/censor conservative thought via search engines, etc.
3. Total news media domination: they control all of the news networks including Fox News now and all major news papers.
4. They control all major social networks, Facebook, Twitter, etc. and use them to sensor conservative thought.
5. Hollywood has been dominated by liberals forever so they control all movie production in favor of socialist themes.
6. Most TV shows have progressive inspired themes; not much wholesome programming these days.
7. All education institutions are dominated by liberal progressives. So our young people are being brainwashed daily.
8. As a steady flow of illegal immigrants continues, Democrats will have a consistent collective majority voting block of government dependent minorities.
Translation: It is highly unlikely that Republicans will win another national election unless they evolve into liberal progressives like their Democrat counterparts and compete with the Democrats for offering more government dependency.
But there is hope. The liberal progressive socialist model is fundamentally flawed. As Margret Thatcher once said: Socialism works well until you run out of other people's money. And when the government tit runs dry and the producers say frick it and join the dependency, then the whole thing collapses upon itself.

We are becoming more of a democracy and less of a republic. Democracies fail when too many of its people become dependent on the government.

Jesus christ. It's comments like this that really make me sick.
It's always someone else's fault when a person fails. It's never, "I feel like we could have done more to attract more people without sacrificing my core values"
I got so sick of hearing those Perdue ads saying:
so many buzzwords. I'd die if I made a drinking game out of it, and people just eat it up.
The word socialism has become so taboo in our country that no one has the balls to even Google what it really means anymore.

Stop conflating absentee voting and junk mail voting (which you guys did continually while debating the issue)
They are 2 completely different ways of voting

Disadvantages of socialism include slow economic growth, less entrepreneurial opportunity and competition, and a potential lack of motivation by individuals due to lesser rewards.
That's all I need to know about it. Basically, it's redistributing wealth so that everyone shares equally. You want what I have and I should be forced to share it with you. Is that about right? Forget about working hard and trying to get ahead, because others will do it for me.
