Not to be confused with the Mercedes Benz Superdome.

I for one welcome our new corporate overlords.

Just because the stadium shares the Mercedes Benz name with the one in New Orleans doesn't mean it'll also lose power randomly does it?

If you watch the "updated fly through" it seriously just looks like someone haphazardly dropped a football field in the middle of a Mercedes dealership. We couldn't get Coke or Home Depot or any hometown sponsor to step up? We have to share sponsors with the Saints? Woof.

yes. not a fan of this. But, the overlap is only a couple of years and our deal is for 27 years so I'm assuming our stadium will eventually make everyone forget about the Benz Superdome.

Would MB not get out of their deal with the Saints? I mean it doesn't make any sense to have them sponsor two stadiums. Especially in the same conference. I think the will back out of NO and just be in ATL. Then Zatarain's, Duck Dynasty, or a big Swimming lessons company will take over as their new sponsor.

MB is moving their U.S. HQ to ATL. Which stadium do you think will get more Mercedes attention?

Being atlanta 2015, it's actually more appropriate to have a foreign transplant sponsor than anything native to the state........

Yep. I was listening to how the developments took shape with an interview with Rich McCay on the front row. This had a lot to do with it.

Their new HQ is not far from the old Porsche NA HQ in Sandy Springs...I believe Porsche is already opened at old Ford plant in Hapeville...I know the test track and building is completed.

They are not close to each other, in many more ways than just geography.

My only concern with the video boards are if the roof is open, that's getting direct, or close to direct sunlight a lot of the time. Is there anyway there wouldn't be a glare.

They'll never open that roof. It'd screw up Benz's logo for the blimp shots.

Have they ever said why they'd open the roof? Just for shits and gigs? When the weather is a perfect 72 and partly cloudy? No way do they actually bother opening that thing.

The old Porsche HQ and new Benz HQ are pretty much right down the road from each other in Sandy Springs...
