LSU wears purple only for non-conference and generally it's a shitty team. They already wore it this year for whatever Sun Belt team they played. They'll be in their traditional "gold" and white.

They never choose to wear dark jerseys at home. However it is visitors choice as to whether to agree to let the home team to wear white tops at home. Steve Spurrier is the one who famously / infamously made them wear dark tops at home one or more times while he was at UF

Kirby won’t do it, but it’d be cool to wear the black. But 3:30 (2:30 ct) game in Louisiana , hell Red will be hot enough.
