I gotta change the stinking dog! I haven't got a clue what possessed me to put that thing on there!

By the way...I have no problem with you (Or anybody else) questioning my posts or calling me out when I say something stupid. Doesn't really make me mad unless somebody starts calling names and making stuff personal.

That wasn't your statement/arguement.You stated we weren't close to being
with the best if the SECe and clearly we were.

As usual, move the yardstick and change the narrative when confronted with
facts.

"We weren't even on the same level as the best of the SEC East........"

That's the statement....for the last three years that Mark Richt was coach we weren't on the same level as the best in the SEC East.....someone else said we weren't on the same level as ALabama and Ohio State and I stand by we weren't even on the same level as the SEC East....if it makes you feel good to have won the SEC east good for you....we fricked around and allowed Missourri win it twice....for the last 3 seasons we clearly were not...and this will be the 4th

With that said, we have had two weeks to figure out what we were doing right and wrong and to fix things. I don't expect perfection, but I feel like we shall use expect this coaching staff to put an improved football team on the field. If we don't see adjustments and better execution, I will grow even more concerned.

I guess this is my whole point. If we don't have a reasonable expectation of being able to compete with AL then what's the point of winning the east? Falling backwards into the East and then getting embarrassed in Atl? No thanks. Even if we beat Vandy.

I'm willing to lose to Vandy and suck for a couple of years if it means we have a chance of building a team that can play at that level eventually. The next time we win the east I'd like for it to be with a team that we all believe has a chance to win the SEC.

I'm hoping CKS gets us there. If not we'll find somebody else.

Stop worrying about Richt. He isn't gonna help us beat UF this weekend. Our current coaches will have to handle that.

I don't give us much chance. Eason is too inexperienced and I think the FL defense is going to eat him up. He misses open receivers and when he sees them he still has trouble with accuracy.

Also...who knows why Chaney continues to scheme us into tight formations where the defense can load the box but if he doesn't spread us out we'll have trouble running. I want to see the shotgun early and often - we need to spread them out.

I just hope we're ready to play but if there any dissention in the locker room it could get ugly. Our best advantage will be if FL is over confident and we come out ready to play. If we jump on them like we did TN I may be surprised.

I'd love to see CKS get a signature win.

You never said "the last three years" in the original statement. We beat the SECe champ 34-0 in '14 but we weren't on the "same level"?

In '13 we beat the highest ranked (end of season) SECe team #5 SC but we weren't
on the "same level" with best of the SECe? We also beat LSU...who knows what
would have happened without injuries.

'15 was a shite show and CMR should and was held accountable

Of course no one is satisfied with competing in the East and I never said as much.Just
pointing out how absurd your orginal statement was.

Agree. Eason will have to take a step up in accuracy and in overall play for us to upset Florida; their defense is just too good. Our receivers seem to have trouble getting open and that won't get any better against Florida. Eason will need to throw some short to medium range passes right into the gut of receivers in tight coverage and hope the receivers don't deflect or bobble the ball. If they do there will be some interceptions. It's going to take some big plays down-field also. I just don't know who can make those plays other than McKenzie, who seems to drop about half of such passes, and Ridley. Nauta was our leading receiver vs Vandy. Hopefully we can get Nauta isolated on a LB deep for some big plays.

Eason certainly has the size and arm strength to be an NFL level QB but so far I'm not seeing as much natural talent as I had hoped for in terms of accuracy and touch on his passes.
