Just watched the UVA game and Tech’s front 7 is trash.

GT has played one ranked team all year.

We will make this a statement game going into the SECG.

GT has played one team that was ranked at the time they played, does that help you?

Isn’t that what happens to every team you beat?

Never beat a team that didn’t drop somewhere.

Tech might rush for 400 yards against us. The main reason we held tech's offense in check last year, Roquan Smith, won't be in Athens Saturday.

I just hope they don't knock a couple of our DL out of the SECCG with knee injuries. Go back and watch last years game. First play from scrimmage, uncalled chop block on John Atkins by the tech center and right guard. Watch slow motion of the play where Trenton Thompson gets injured; double teamed by the guard and tackle and then the center pile drives into his knee from the side. But, I'm sure our DL don't mind playing against Paul Johnson's cheap shot offense, because it's a tradition and Georgia fans like their message board smack talk against a third rate program's fans.

Clearly SC was not a top 25 team. Auburn isn’t either.

We’ve played 3 ranked teams. Obviously things can change as the season goes along, but IMO it’s much more accurate to use the current rankings.

Tech hasn't run for 400 yards on us since Grantham's first year where he tried to collapse the B gap with 2 DEs in a 5 technique. That was 2010 (thankfully, we still won).

We haven't had Roquan since 2011. Lots of teams have stopped this offense without Roquan. We will be fine.

The last time Tech came close to 400 was Pruitt's first year. He was too stubborn to make defensive adjustments (Paul johnson adjusts to us. We have to continually change our looks to not let turkeyneck predict the outcome of each play).

Kirby and Mel are kings of defensive adjustments. We will be fine.

Not so sure about that. I mean Stanford was in the top 25 last year, and they lost 5 games playing in the PAC 12. Auburn's 5 losses (Assuming they lose Saturday) will have been to:

Ranking in parentheses
Alabama (1)
Georgia (3)
LSU (7)
Mississippi State (18)
Tennessee (UNR)

All top 20 teams except, obviously, Tennessee. I would bet Auburn's resume is better than Stanford's last year. (I do realize and acknowledge Auburn typically gets beat badly when they get beat, though) Not arguing that Auburn should be a top 25 team....just that it could be argued that they could be a top 25 team.

They also beat two ranked teams in Washington and Texas A&M.

Auburn is a top 25 team, they have just been beaten by teams who were ranked when they played.

We played 5. GT has played one.

Imagine going into everyone weekend and none you are playing is ranked but Clemson. That means a lot of 12pm kickoffs.

We will run up and down on that GT front. Bookmark it.

And they might literally rush for 400 yards on us, too. They average 353 a game.
