Did you know they just named her Co-Special Teams Player of the Week in the SEC?

Any time you do something like this you cheapen the sport. They are telling all of the punters and kickers that she did better than they did last week, when any player on either team could have done what she did. All that was required is for somebody to kick the ball out of bounds and the results would have been the same.

Kids have worked all year preparing for their time on the field, and she walked on the field as a gimmick and cheapened all the work they had done.


You want to defend that? Okay. Tell me what she did that any other kicker did not do last week.

One kickoff and the ball rolled to the 35 yard line.

Players work their rear ends off to get on the field and they let her walk on the field and then present her with an award.

That’s all fair, but she’s getting a ton of undeserved hatred for this, when it’s not her fault that the SEC or Media is pumping her up.

Like, criticize the media, criticize Vandy’s football team for not finding someone better, but I don’t think she deserves that for trying to do her best.

Her halftime locker room speech bullshite was terrible. It was an insult to the guys who put on that uniform and actually play football. If she had been humble and not done that (as well as acting like she made a Super Bowl winning kick), I would agree. But she's been a first class douche the whole way.
