I agree that Vandy's defensive play will stop Gurley. They will stop him the exact same way he was stopped against Troy. Mike Bobo will know the game is in hand after six carries/one drive, and he will put Gurley on the bench to save him for a better team.

Every time I hear "anchor down" I immediately think "drop anchor". Hopefully they will do that in their pants this weekend when they see Gurley run out on to the field.

Excellent.

I actually watched a replay of the Vandy UK game.

You want to talk about a SLOW defense? Look no further than Vandy.

Got a feeling this one will get ugly, fast.

Well, that was their player and not Mason.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind the kid saying it? What's he supposed to say?

"We're gonna probably get our shite kicked in. I just hope Mr. Todd doesn't put me on his highlight reel. Idk how I'll be able to live with that when I am an engineer with NASA."

I don't really think it's a big deal. Especially not the first part of what he said. I don't know that id say the "given the size and strength of our D, we will handle it quite properly" stuff if I were him but that's more because it's like Hoke saying he definitely believes Michigan is still a championship caliber team. I don't expect him to admit "yea, this is gonna suck bad, hopefully they pull him out early to rest him" either though haha

I think Hoke's is wayyyy worse. Or the Texas kids coming out saying they're still Texas and they're still Baylor/Baylor is trash etc. This is just some kids showing misguided optimism.

Seriously. If anything I thank Mr. Ekubposadiuhaldhoiqwe for his motivation not only for Based Gurley but for the OL as well

No doubt. But I doubt Gurley gets more than 10 or so touches.

I think he gets roughly 15, but the minute we go up by 3 scores, they put him on the bench...unless Vandy makes a comeback.
