Using all of these TEs?

Ok I don't have the Phd in Footballology that some of you do, so educate me here. How exactly ARE we going to use this room full of TEs on this team? I don't think I've ever even heard of a situation where a team has 4, maybe 5 potential All-Star tightends on the same team like we have this season. It almost borders on being unbelievable at the stockpile of talent in that room.
So what's the plan reckon?..... 2 TE set? 3 TE set? 3 TEs and line one of them up at fullback? Enlighten me....

It will be interesting. We really really need to develop some receivers and have them ready go for the playoffs. But we have a tight end on the field probably 95 percent of the time and play two tight end sets more than just about any team in the country. Hopefully the coaches find the right balance.

Depends on the skill set really. The goal would be to create match up issues. You could use some of them similar to slot receivers as they did last year. Also using motion. Under Monken and Bobo we have had 3 TE packages, so it is not a new thing for us. I also would not rule out them using that tall dude as an X in some packages.

How likely do you think it it that Elyiss Williams passes Luckie and gets more reps than Luckie? The Film Guy seems pretty convinced it's going to happen.

UGA has had a great TE room for some time now. It would be nice to see more plays with the TE catching more passes. Maybe something really good will come of this.

I think from everything I’m seeing you’ll see Reddell in a Bowersesque role. In line occasionally. End arounds occasionally. Out wide occasionally. Elyis and Luckie will be your more traditional TEs. Barbour will be a utility guy apparently playing FB and in line. Prothro may eventually be a TE but he’s supposedly played X receiver in all the viewed practices/ scrimmages.

I'd like to see tight bunch formations. If the defense tries to cover it with DBs, run the ball. If the defense tries to cover with LBs, throw it.
Also, have the TE wide but off the line but with a WR in the "slot" spot but on the line. Try to get mismatches via line-up, and let the WR run off whoever tries to cover him with the TE slanting into open space underneath.

Protho will be in the slot receiver position more than being a on the line tight end. I can see reddell doing what Bowers was doing and running sweeps.

Y'all gonna be surprised how productive the WR corp is going to be. As expected everyone is looking for Talyn Taylor to contribute. But Craig Dandridge is going to absolute go off. I love his junior and senior high school highlights.
