I like Vaughn the rb but the receiver lipscomb, and the tight end Pinckney didn’t impress me.

GFYS Rig. I noticed a lot of weaknesses with our D last night. Again, we need more speed on the outside. The RB was running circles around them. Our D needs work. But our offense looked great.

In the end, the score should have been much higher.

Penalties aside, I thought the defense was solid. There’s still plenty they can improve on, but speed didn’t appear to be an issue last night.

I'm watching the game right now and I still see the same issues - Especially Crowder. But its the first game and they will get better as we go along. Wasn't trying to suggest that our D sucks. - Just has issues that need to be resolved.

Speed is not the issue, if anything they over-pursued.

Our defense is so bad, waaaah waaah waaaah

Yall are a bunch of snot nosed fricking babies. I bet half of you can't wipe your asses.

frick all of you. So and so this and so and so that. Bitches please.

Pink-assed little dodo's yall are.

Change my mind.

I had no idea that Dawg fans were griping about our defense until I just read this. Hadn't seen it or heard it. You are feigning outrage for the sake of drawing attention to yourself, which has become the new American pastime, surpassing baseball and football.

There's literally a thread titled "Defense" in this very forum that someone started to bitch about the defense.

Check the game thread. Some of fans now complain about everything that isn’t perfection. Or solely look at stats. We only had one sack, but I thought our pass defense was great. Every single drop back was thrown within a couple seconds. Hard to fault the DL/LBs for not making plays that quickly.

And UGA penalties helped with Vandy getting 6 points.

We didn't get a bunch of sacks, but there was consistent pressure most of the night.

We had no tackling issues.

DBs were solid.

This is an improved defense. UGA played as good or better on D than anyone in the country.

I wasn't "bitching" about our Defense. I simply pointed out issues I noticed.

Pointing out issues you noticed is bitching. It's in the dictionary.

So sorry to break all the doom and gloom, but I think there's a real high note for the D. Jordan Davis is going to be really good - really good. He's big and athletic, and the improvement he's shown is a testament to work ethic.

Just watch as the season progresses. He'll be monstrous.
