McGarity approaching the tail end of his contract before he retires.

How long is his contract for? Last I saw was through June of 2019, so that would make the upcoming football season and next basketball season his last? I could stomach that... Now... here is a bit of a funky question. Would Fox be considered for any role within the Athletic Department if we were going to go another direction? (Would he even consider it?) Chip Towers brought up that he might be a good future AD in the Q/A column from today.

Unfortunately, I see this season ending in classic Fox fashion...get a couple quality wins late in the season, win 1 SEC tournament game, and get left out on selection Sunday. All because we lost a few games that we had in the bag in January.

I agree. If we would have been able to hold a 20 point lead over Auburn we would be sitting pretty right now.

Fortunately we have another chance at them at home. Need a great atmosphere there.

This is our immediate schedule.
MSU - W
@ Vandy - Toss
Auburn - L
@ Florida- Toss
Tenn - W

Obviously we can beat Florida. I have Vandy as a toss up because their drive and dish does not matchup well for us.

Auburn at home with a crazy atmosphere could change the outcome of the game.

We are a matchup problem for Florida and we should have won in Florida last year.

Tenn at home is a good matchup for us.

If we could go 4-1 in this stretch we would inside looking out. If we got 2-3, 1-4, or 0-5 we are done completely.

I see us going 3-2 through that stretch picking up 1 win on the T/U:

MSU - W
@Vandy - W
Auburn - toss
@florida - toss
Tenn - toss

We will be first four out going into this weekend. If we can go 3-2, we will definitely be solidly on the bubble if not in. 2-3 and we will have a bit of work to do, including that home game at Tennessee at the end of the season. Does suck looking back if we woulda picked up just 1 of those close losses where we had a good lead....but seems like we say that every friggin year.

ESPN has us the 2nd team listed in first 4 out

ETA: SMU has already lost, they were a last 4 in

If we win tonight, we should be a last 4 in come tomorrow. Maybe that will give the boys a little hop in their step too.

Well, Jordan Harris is suspended indefinitely. I wonder what he did.

Now Tyree should get a lot more minutes for sure and this would be his opportunity to take a lot of minutes.

Oh look, Mike Edwards turns it over for an easy 2.

And another poor turnover out of bounds.

Down 11 less than 8 minutes in.
