Our OL outweighs their DL by 60-70 pounds on AVERAGE. We should be able to put them on skates and pound them relentlessly. I think we beat them soundly, maybe embarrassingly.

Vegas loves to use us to create sucker bets for the dumb money to bet on.

I think Vegas just has no confidence in Gunner. If he shows out, we will be heavy favorites the rest of the way imo

Maybe you are missing the idea that many think notre dame is a good team?

Vegas's.goal is to get money from both sides.

That's why all those casinos are out there.

But I agree, no way we should start out as a dog. Kirby is definitely using this as motivation

Vegas/the betting public are dinging us because we've been inconsistent and we have a relative unknown at QB. Now I personally think this is overblown and we should probably be a -6 or -7 favorite, but we know our team better than outsiders and we're also biased.

It's telling, though, that as soon as that line opened @ ND -1.5 it immediately shifted 2 points in our favor. I would guess it's probably around UGA -3 by the time of kickoff.

I think you don't understand the purpose of point spreads.

It shouldn't be that hard to figure out. We lost our starting QB.

Our QB will be getting the very first start in his college career.

In the Sugar Bowl.

That's not normal and that's going to impact the betting line.

Arizona State: +7000

And the first book I’ve looked at only gives us the 5th best odds to win it all out of the remaining 8

Also, it’s pretty hilarious to look at the odds of the last two teams on that list compared to the rest. Two teams teams that earned a bye week under this retarded DEI system

And Texas and Penn State are both double digit favorites over those two nobodies

And so Out of the first 8 games of this new playoff, only 2 games will have point spreads below a touchdown. Georgia/ND and OH/Oregon. It’s hard to express how mindbogglingly stupid the rule makers for this thing are

This thing is such a colossal and epic failure so far. I barely watched yesterday. Just checked the scores every once and a while kind of like it’s just another sport instead of the greatest sport of all like it once was

So sad

They’re pounding us for losing our starting QB. Which to be honest is fair. If this were any other team I’d be pressing against the team that has to go with the backup through the playoffs.

I’m just happy we have a ND team that our defense should be able to control in the first full game of the Gunner era. I would not want to be catching OState or OR at this point where we may need 40 to win.

We will see how this narratives turns out. Sometimes too much time isn’t a good thing.

Yes, but Kirby won’t let that happen.

It's not stupidity IMO. It's a system designed to be more easily rigged for desired outcomes.

I will have Hayne King PTSD anytime our next game is against a running quarterback, and Riley Leonard is a way better runner than Haynes King, so I am worried about that part of the game.

King is a power runner. The ND guy primarily scrambles.
