UGA Ice Dawgs home opener today

First I suspect the Give S*** factor about Hockey at Georgia is really low on this board during football season or in general.
I am also aware it is probably extremely confusing an LSU fan who grew up in South Louisiana and now lives in Athens Area is a big hockey fan.
Well I am, and a proud season ticket holder of Ice Dawg Hockey.
We open tonight against Clemson at the Classic Center as the defending SECHC Champions and a successful trip to Nationals.
Great group of UGA students who play for the love of the game. If you are in the area come out and support the team. Its a great time.

Very true, but its still UGA Students, representing The Universty of Georgia. Anyway just trying to get support for team.

I'm from Nashville, and can tell you that southerners can get into some fricking hockey.

Been to a couple games and I always have a good time. Looking forward to making a few this year... plus they serve booze.

Ha ha. Well my wife and Daughter kind of have already.
I almost did when LSU hired a buffoon for a HC and the Troy loss.
However I cannot turn my back. However like I said I attend all UGA home football games, several baseball games and always wear UGA gear. I will always be a fan of UGA except the rare occasions they play LSU.
The true test will be next year when we travel to Baton Rouge for the LSU vs UGA game.
I fear my wife and daughter will be sporting the red and black and will be outcast with my friends and family.
