Maybe some weird SoS thing? I just know that I like the latest D1 projections with us as the 8 and has GT in our regional as the ACC team

D1 now has us at 9 with Oklahoma taking our spot at 8 and FSU at 7. We clear OU in virtually every metric but consensus is that they’ll want diversity and not just 5 SEC and 3 ACC teams (even though that’s pretty representative of where college baseball power lies)

Multiple people point out that the last time we were a national seed/ made it to CWS, Tech was in our region and we faced NC State in the supers.
This year, Tech is in our region and we would play NC State in the Supers if we advance.

Very favorable draw for a regional and what an insane proof of concept year for Wes and the boys. Almost more excited to see what we do in the portal postseason than these next two weekends. Almost. Can’t wait for Friday!
