I think this is the worst performance I've ever seen from Georgia given the void of talent that was our opponent. Team was very sloppy. Oline absolutely miserable. Receivers with lots of drops.

I'm a huge Kirby fan, but the team wasn't ready to play today, and that falls on the head coach. There needs to be an awakening this week, or we might be fighting for table scraps in the east.

App State won like 11 games last year in the Sun Belt. They aren't a bad team.

If we had played any Sun Belt team with that performance today, we would have lost.

The team won...but the real losers today were the fans that filled the stadium....what a shite show for the first home game...just shouldn't happen...ever..

A win is a win.....I say bullshite...Chubb should have had 100 by the first half.....the offensive line looked like shite and IMac.....he had a great game until the fumbled punt return and the dumb arse attempt to catch a kick off on the side line....I wonder what the frick were the guys thinking about today, cause it sure wasn't about football.....I hope Kirby runs them till the puke

Can't help but think this was an attitude and focus thing. No way do we beat a ranked UNC team by two scores on a neutral field to start the season and not have something in the tank to work with.

Better collect their manhood with the quickness because it's about to get a lot harder these next 3-4 games

I felt the same way, but the LOS was still very concerning

Likewise and I'm going to say it: I don't like seeing the obese Jim Chaney on our sideline; it just makes the poor offensive performance that much harder to take. Out of all the decent OC's we might have gotten, why did we have to get a whale for an OC.

I hope it is drilled into their heads for the rest of the season that this team is not good enough, not deep enough, not talented enough to sleepwalk through a single game on our schedule. Show up to play your arse off or pack your things and get out

Of course, Prairie View is an utter shitbox of a program. They lost 80 straight at one point...

My beef isn't even with Chaney. I thought he actually did a good job trying to make something happen. My beef is with the offensive line playing baby shite soft and with our receivers just flat out sucking 8 sphincters deep worth of shite. Receivers didn't block (except that one Wims explosion and look what happened because of it), they didn't get separation, and lord help Eason throwing darts that were dropped. This was some of the most horrendouse interior line play I've seen in some time. You'd think Wynn and Sims were going to have to walk off the field after the game holding the pocket of the Nicholl's DLine. Just dominated front to back.

My initial reaction is to say that the RBs played as well as they could given the blocking (or lack thereof) that they were given but I'd need to rewatch to see how they actually did.

DBs were a lot like iMac: stellar one minute and then cringeworthy another. Just wildly inconsistent.

DL got lost at times but Trent Thompson came into his own today; when a guy makes 11 tackles, 3 TFL, and 1 sack in a 2 point game, I think it's fair to say that he was probably the difference.

Would need to watch the replay to see how the LBs did as a unit.

At least Blankenship was finally kicking it deep enough to draw some touchbacks

Last year Nicholls State finished 8 out of 11 in the Southland Conference in front of Abolene Christian and Ouachita Presbyterian or something or another; but tell yourself whatever you want if it makes you feel better about us inching them out.

The problem with judging them based on what they did last year is that it doesn't account for what they do on the field any other day. This was their first game of the season (had a bye last week). They were charged up and had nothing to lose. They played strong. Our boys thought this was going to be a cake walk and and came out mentally unprepared to play ball.

I agree....but the fact we fired Richt was for this exact shite. We all need to settle down. It sucks and we looked like arse at the line on both sides of the ball.

Let's see what happens now. First adversity Smart has to deal with this far.

I fricking hated today.. Was embarrassing. Let's see what happens

CMR was doing this repeatedly over the last 10 years. I'm willing to forgive CKS for his first time. I just hope it doesn't keep happening.

That about sums up the completely humiliating garbage I watched from the Oline. The OL and WRs were something i'd expect out of an undersized pee-wee football team. I can't remember seeing a team that just completely whiffed on blocks more than we did today.

Something that really disappointed me was that not a single player seemed to be chewing guys out on the sideline. No apparent leadership when things are in doubt which will fester into a big problem for us down the line.

CKS lambasted the receivers for not being willing to block. He's right; they were pathetic today. Blocking all around was terrible.
