I can't believe they are still complaining about targeting calls but they are.

Their lack of knowledge of the rules is astounding to me. It is not just the rules as written but the way the rules are interpreted by the officials. I would have expected more from that fanbase. I mean big tenners always speak of their intellectual prowess.

Why?

To immediately shut those people down, just say "If Ryan Day's Buckeyes could have put together 4 full quarters of defense, it wouldn't have come down to a field goal or targeting call" and that will shut them up for at least 45 minutes.

Don't blow 2 separate 14 point leads for it to come down to a FG and there's nothing to discuss.

Don't even care if he was in the game. He did absolute squat for nearly two full quarters before he left the game. On the play he got hurt, he dropped the ball before the hit anyway.

Stroud was the baller on their offense that game and he was healthy to the end. Those two TD passes to MHJ were due to Stroud getting out of trouble and buying time.

The injury thing is a joke and an excuse by OSU fans for missing out on beating up on TCU.

Stroud should have won the Heisman. He is legit.

If I recall correctly, Kirby said he recruited him really hard, knows him and all his family, but he ultimately went to oh st.

That's the only nice thing I have to say about the buckeyes.

Not to defend those Yankees but Harrison went off in that game. two touchdowns and probably 100 yards.

He was silent after we started double teaming him.

Yeah, he had a good 1st quarter and some change, but his two TDs were on scrambles where Stroud threw him open. He also fumbled a ball that, fortunately for him, went out of bounds. And then he was silent for nearly two full quarters.

After he left the game, OSU had three possessions. Two of the three resulted in FG attempts after driving the field (thanks to Stroud), and one punt. They had the chance to put the game away even without MHJ and they couldn't do it.

So yeah, given the body of work in that game, I'll stick with Stroud being a stud and the injury to MHJ not being as impactful as the OSU fans want to pretend. It was a total choke job by OSU.

Again - blowing 2 TD leads TWICE should be unacceptable. Buckeye fans want to talk about how UGA's D gave up 41, but most of us liked our chances if it came down to a shootout.

If you believe the stories floating around his recruitment, one of our current QBs sabotaged Stroud's OV and that's why he didn't come to UGA.

Him being double teamed still helps their offense.

That being said, it wasn’t targeting. Bitch arse buckeye fans.

The story doesn’t make sense.

It presumes that a recruit is hosting another recruit.

There are obvious inconsistencies with the story even if the net result was the same.

I want to hear the story anyway.

Did Carson Beck slip a whoopie cushion under CJ while Stetson distracted him?
