I'll admit, that's creative. But I feel like it would require people to think too much to understand it.
Worried about your Auburn friends not understanding your tattoo. Gotcha

Yeah, permanent body art is not something I want to just do on-the-fly.
I've seen how that can go and it ain't pretty.

It's no different than making prediction threads, really, since many folks predict one team whips the other's arse. Somebody is gonna be right.
I am superstitious and that's why I don't make predictions either.
Why does it have to be done the night of or the day after the game?

"Keep Popping Wood" right above your crotch.

Because, the entire point is for it to be directly connected to a specific event. Waiting a week after sorta screws up the nostalgia.
I mean, why not go ahead and get one for 1980 and 1942 while I'm at it?

Because that would be silly. I don't see how a couple of days after the fact makes any difference.
But have it at. Good luck to you and GO DAWGS!!!!

It might not, you're right on that. But I seriously want to be able to drive back to Pain & Wonder that next day and cap off a title run with a permanent reminder. It's just something I want to do. Can't really explain it.

Orale, vato! Unless you get it on your face, it don't mean shite.
- Pretty much every gang banger out there.

James Armstrong at Walk the Line tattoos a number of Bulldog players, fwiw - you should check his work before deciding on Pain and Wonder.

Y'know, I had come across their reviews and was thinking about them, too. Glad you mentioned that. I might have to change my destination. Thank you, sir!

Alright, I have an idea......try to visualize this as best you can.
To start, imagine one of three things....
A red battle flag with the new Uga on it instead of the "G", like so...
OR
A wooden plank with the new Uga on it, again in place of the "G", like so...
OR just the new Uga head by itself...
Add in a few links of the thick, Junkyard Dawg chain that our defensive players wear from time to time either hanging somehow from the flag, or the wooden plank, or draped around the Uga head's neck and hanging down below...
That chain attaches to a smaller, wooden plank with the number "1942" on it in the same jersey font as the 1942 team wore.
Another few links down and another plank for 1980, again, block font, same as the jerseys of that year.
Another few links down and another plank for 2018, this time using the current bubble jersey font.
AND this leaves me room to make future additions as we add more nattys (natties?).
Only questions now are do I do the flag, the plank or just the Uga head at the top and do I have it done on my arm, or maybe run this sucker down the spine (I actually think that could look pretty cool if it gets long enough over the years.
Thoughts?

Could also go the simple route and do this...
Only hate that I couldn't incorporate the years of the nattys in there.

I like the Uga head with the junkyard chain collar idea... would have to get some renderings to see what the planks hanging might look like, but I like it in theory.
As to location, I think shoulder is a good spot for a tattoo... spine would be cool if you can get the artwork symmetrically balanced *but* I hear that's a more painful place to get one... no cushion directly over the spine.

You mean as in down the arm or on the shoulder blade?

Yeah, I've heard that, too. But no pain, no gain, right?
BTW, I agree about the renderings. But who could I enlist to do that?
