Jake Fromm when Cager has been banged up (5 games):

74/ 143, 52%, 7 TD, 3 INT, 155.2 YPG

Jake Fromm with Cager at full health (6 games):

106/141, 75%, 10 TD, 0 INT, 226 YPG

I agree with you but hate that our qb is so obviously dependent on one player.

Yep. I also hate how we have no short or middle yardage passing game.

Almost all the throws last night were deep balls except the check downs to Swift.

Anyone know what’s ailing him?

Well it was his shoulder, but I believe it’s something undisclosed now.

We were absolutely gutted with so many experienced targets leaving after last season. I still don’t understand how people are here think that shouldn’t have an impact on our offense.

My god...nobody is saying we didn’t lose a ton of production at the receiver and tight end position. We all agree on that. And for the most part, we all questioned or still question was it play calling or execution for the lackluster performances early in the year.

But yesterday’s performance from Fromm had NOTHING to do with Cager. For all those screaming for Coley to a scheme guys open, he did it. And Jake didn’t...couldn’t...hit them. Blame it on the rain or his small hands because in the end it’s the results that matter.

And hate the rain has plagued him, cause don’t look at the forecast for Saturday’s game at tech...best hope it changes.

And this from a full JF11 supporter. He has to play better. He can because he’s showed it, but he has to do it now. Hopefully he gets out of this slump. And it’s also asinine that yesterday was the first time he’s ever tried a game with a glove. It’s not like the rain was a surprise...if it was an issue and a glove would be an option, that should have been repped plenty before that game.

We could score a 100 vs tech with out throwing a pass. We out man their dline by 75 pounD's per man.

There are literally hs teams in ga that could beat tech.

And what does that do? We have a quarterback with the yips and in a mental slump.

He needs the reps and opportunities to work on in game timing.

Having rain in the forecast to screw with his mind and confidence again isn’t helpful with LSU looming.

Of course that has an impact. However, that does not have an impact to the point of complete incompetence in moving the ball through the air.

Yea I mean it’s not like people are ignoring the turnover from last year. But whether it’s a top returning receiver or a 4th string guy when he’s wide open you have to hit him. It’s not sacrilege to acknowledge that Fromm sucked a big one last night and has several times this season. It sucks too because I thought Coley actually called a good game last night.

I just hope no one uses scoring 40+ against a very bad Tech team as an indicator of the offense “coming around”.

I agree, but damn it would be nice to get the passing game in a groove to get some sort of rhythm and momentum going into the LSU game. If Fromm plays like he did last night against LSU, we are going to get crushed.

If we score 40 and Jake has a good game I am going to be so fricking vulnerable to yet another heart breaking defeat in the SECCG.
