There's probably truth to it, he's an old man with health issues.

I think I'm going to puke lol
DGD is absolutely right though he was at a point at Bama where he received a lot of delegation of stuff A LOT I'd even say the last 2 years the D coaching GPing everything has been all Kirby and if this is going to happen at UGA it is a sign that Richt likely only has a few more years and he would be giving up a large bit of his duties up for this hire.
It's the only way Kirby would come, he wouldn't take a step back, he's at least earned that

I'm not sure that you're lending enough credence to the fact that CMR isn't long for his clipboard, Jefferson. Myself and lots of others on here have talked about how we felt like this season took a lot out of him. Add Kathryn's cancer. Add the new grandkid en route. I think he would be all right with turning the keys over to KirBo in a few years, if he felt that they had a grasp on things.
