Holy shite. I’ve never heard anything like that in a sports venue before.

It was lit up all day, but that 4th quarter drive with all the sacks and false starts…that’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of crowd noise level.

I was proud to do my part, but all of y’all who were in the stadium should be proud of yourselves tonight.

I've been attending games in Sanford since 1969. I have never heard it as loud as tonight. And it wasn't just in spurts, it was the whole damn game. Great win for the Dawgs.

Had to listen on the radio due to a work situation. Was absolutely deafening. Proud to be a Bulldog. I bet that made quite the impression on all those 5 stars as well.

Only time I can recall it being close to that loud was 2013 LSU…but that was really only the 4th quarter.

I was on the south side and I barely heard the redcoats all night, and I didn’t hear UTJr band a single time.

It was deafening every time the defense was up.

My ears are still ringing

I am every bit as proud of the crowd, as I am the team for what they did yesterday. They were outstanding! They had the vols upside down when they had the ball. So much for the Tennessee fans that said "well, we use hand signals on offense, the crowd noise will not bother us." Yeah, right.

Fantastic job by everyone that attended the game.

Beginning to end was the loudest crowd has been in my 30+ years.

Maybe a few louder moments along the way.

What gets overlooked is home many of those pricey tickets went to UGA fans and not UT fans. Many of their tickets were bought by UGA. That really suprised me.

IF we make SEC champ, those tickets will be crazy with LSU.

Oh..and Tenn sent back 2,000 of their tix in July. That’s why they didn’t even fill the upper.

Exactly.I saw a bunch of UT fans around
my tailgating area (Green Street) and I assumed that would translate to the crowd at Sanford but it didn't.Far less
than I anticipated.

Scoreboard showed over 131 a few times. Not sure how official that is.

It often shows a high reading when just band is playing.

“It was amazing. Coach Smart challenged Dawg Nation and they responded, they over-succeeded,” defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse said. “It got to a point my body was shaking when I was on the field. It was a moment I’ll never forget.”

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel acknowledged the noise proved to be a huge problem for his offense. “I didn’t think, all in all, we handled the noise very well. That’s false starts, being in sync, communicating up front,” Heupel said. “At the end of the day, (the crowd noise) hurt us certainly early in the football game and, at times, throughout the course of it.”

Saw 126 in an article but i dont believe their is an official number, will be different based on where its measures so 130 is as good as any.
