It should be a 1 vs 2 and either team could be in either spot, and I'd be ok with it with Ohio State at 3.

Oh state is ranked #2 , and has the supposed Heisman front runner. Yet nobody has ever even seen them play a game yet

Check in if you’ve ever seen part of an Ohio state game in 2022

At best I think Tennessee will move to #4. I don't see them leaping Clemson AND Michigan. Maybe one of them and certainly won't jump Ohio State.

Any chance it’s a night? I know CBS already had one.
Gonna be the biggest game at Sanford since ND, probably bigger than that.

Their fans are insufferable and are already attacking us. I’m gona wind up getting banned after we beat them.

That would be a real shame.

I could see them reaching #2. They have by FAR the best resume and honestly deserve a top 2 spot but I know pollsters are USUALLY leery of dropping undefeated teams that aren't losing. However we've definitely seen this season us and bama drop adn rise without losing games just based on how each one looked that particular week, so it is posisble. Michigan just had a solid win over a good PSU so they are probably all set but clemson is just kinda there. I would actually be shocked if UT doesn't jump over clemson.
What's REALLY curious to me is where bama ends up getting ranked. In reality they are likely a top 3 or 4 team, I mean I highly doubt there are 5 teams in america that would beat them. But...they lost. You've gotta think thye'll be at best case (for them) somewhere around 5/6, but in reality they could fall all the way down to 8 or 9 maybe

Voters seem to be voting for complete teams. Tennessee will be knocked for their defense.
Wins are important. Showing no flaws seems equally or more important for the top 4 spots.

Hope that the crowd has the same effect that game as they did last year vs. Arkansas or a few years back vs. the Irish. The stadium was rocking both games and it made a big difference in the outcome. I don't remember the number of times the Hogs and the Irish were pentalized for either delay of game or false calls simply because their offensive players could not to hear the QB, but it was on several occasions .. and at critical times. A night game would be great, but I suspect CBS will lock it up at 3:30p. Going to be a fight. I'd like to see the Dawgs win by a comfortable margin as I am getting too old for nail-biter games, but I expect this one will go late into the 4th with the Dawgs prevailing.

You won’t, until they play Michigan.

Girl behind me at game (who is obnoxious af) said she was selling her Tenn tickets to get all her money back.
I nicely told her if UT fans sit behind me that game I will giver her shite.
UGA fans need to step up this game (like we did Ark).

This is the problem. The tickets are so expensive second hand that only the wine and cheese crowd can afford to get into the game. Lower your prices. Let our loudest and trashiest fans in for this game.

Texas and aTm could have won. aTm got shafted by the officials at the end. Ole Miss could beat Bama, and LSU might give them a good game.
Ohio State, Michigan, and TCU could play them close and maybe win.

How do you do this with a secondary market?

No thanks... don't like sitting next to trashy people but you're welcome to invite em over to your house to watch the game.
I have no doubt Sanford will be plenty loud Nov 5th

quote:Not to mention Ohio State is a darling of the media. Plus ohio State has played well, too. UT only has UT Martin and Kentucky to play, so I don' think they can just jump over Ohio State. Meanwhile Ohio State will play Penn State, so if they take care of business, I just don't see UT jumping them. Is it possible? Sure. I just don't see it as likely, unless Ohio State stumbles.

Strange isn't it? They used to be pushed by the media and were the darlings and now it almost seems as if they are being ignored. Surreal, really. I mean, they won a couple of championships so you would think they would still get the benefit of the doubt. Lst year really damaged their reputation.

I personally think that with all of the other losses they will end up around 5 or 6. It will be interesting, for sure.
As always these are all my opinion, and others are probably more right than I am.
