Swift had a bitch melt? Take Fromm's nuts off of your chin.

I can’t believe how pissed off and belligerent Fromm got when Swift slid a yard short of first down to ice game.

So brave and empowering of Fromm to do that

Here is the play.

Line gets set at 5 seconds left on the PC.

Fromm starts his cadence and is looking at the defense formation at 3 seconds.

A&M defender showing blitz and Fromm immediately looks his direction at 2 seconds.

Fromm puts his hands down as if to start an audible or alert to the blitz at 1 second.

Fromm knows he's got 1 second and makes the decision to get the ball snapped rather than take a delay (guessing he wasn't thinking about a time out given the cardinal rule is to not give your opponent more time when you're trying to run out the clock).

Ball is snapped right before the PC hits 0 and Swift runs into the blitzing defender.

I mean one of Jake's most documented strengths is audibling into the right play...

Swift is the reason we won that game. He looks like a first round pick. Fromm looks like a future high school coach.

Yeah VA, you nailed it bro. Mitch trubisky. He sucks in the NFL so you're saying Fromm sucks. Sick

CKS says it a lot in his press conferences. Fromm gets us into the position to make the best play, most of the time.

Those who think Fromm is an idiot behind center aren't watching the games closely enough. There's a reason why so many talking heads who watch a lot of football respect what Fromm does in spite of our offensive woes this season.

I don’t think he’s an idiot. He’s super intelligent, but his accuracy is off. It could be that he’s so Intelligent that he’s overthinking everything. It could be the coaching is terrible. It could be the WRs, or it could be he’s regressed due to all or some of these. The point is, the throws aren’t getting made and something has to be done about it.

It’s hard to tell how deep the rift is. If you watch at the end of the game, right before the feed is cut, Jake goes up to Swift but Swift barely acknowledges him and just keeps walking while Jakes trying to talk to him.

Jake walks off with that I just got brushed off face.

Jakes obviously feeling the pressure. He’s got to regroup ASAP.

Yeah I mean I get the frustration with Fromm. Especially tonight he missed some passes you just can't miss. But I'm not ready to trash the dude and say he sucks. He needs a good performance against Ga Tech to hopefully get his confidence and rhythm back. But I agree with you that anyone questioning his footbll IQ and preparedness is just being ignorant.

This guy has given us some special moments over the past three years and to forget all that and shite on the dude constantly is weird to me.

He's only been good in about two games. Cupcakes do not count, but in one of those he wasn't great either considering who we were playing. I think we know Coley sucks, but Fromm missing wide open receivers, not seeing other open receivers is going to kill us. It already has killed us against South Carolina.

It carried over to the post-game interviews, too. Dre was asked about the offensive struggles, and the reporter mentioned Jake in the question. Perfect opportunity for our stud RB to stick up for his QB.

But he didn't. Not a word about Jake. Told the reporter that if she knows what's wrong, to tell him...guys have to make plays, blah, blah, blah.

This is deeper than just a busted 1st down call. This was building and finally exploded on camera. Someone mentioned Cook was caught shaking his head at Jake tonight, too.

I think there's a lot more going on behind the scenes than what we're seeing. Not good....not good, at all.

The Cook head shake was him looking at the screen at the replay and seeing he was open. He was already off the field and not really directed at Jake; frustration I’m sure was directed at him.

It’s like he has an aversion to throwing it to Cook out in the flat now.

Was chatting with a friend. I made the comment Fromm needed to come back his senior year. He said it's just time for Fromm to leave. He's digressing with this current staff and needs to take his chances in the draft. Maybe a good NFL OC and a few years on an NFL scout team will do something for him.

Lot of similarities. Bears have a great defense and good players on offense. They're being severely held back by their dogshit QB.

Fromm is really good at presnap reads. When his first read is there, he is a mostly accurate passer (the two horrible missed TD passes in the first quarter today notwithstanding). When his presnap read isn't there, he panics and gets jittery in the pocket and you see things like the South Carolina and Auburn games.

He'd be an idiot to leave. He'll have a talented and expirenced receiver group coming back. He's showed he can be effective in the past and you don't want to enter the draft coming off your worst season.

NFL scouts will not like his game tapes from the Kentucky and A&M games. They'll see that he can't grip the ball in bad weather and realize that he would be colossally fricked in a road playoff game against the Packers or Steelers, for instance.
