Stetson to transfer? Anybody catch his rather strange statement on GMA?

Was this the Pappy talking?

If he doesn't trust the staff then he should go somewhere where he can

That interview and the conference yesterday AM left a lot of strange signals. Not sure what it meant, but agree with your thoughts.

My opinion is that he wants a guarantee to start

Yep.I think you're right.
If we've learned anything from Kirby it's that NOBODY is guaranteed a starting position.

Yep. He is not getting that guarantee. Will be weird to see him play somewhere else but it might happen

I don’t think it’s a guarantee to start…that would run off all QBs and poison the well. I think it’s about other things involving NIL. Maybe a player/coach staff position.

You would think he stands to make crazy NIL money next year whether he starts or not
Thats what guarantees he’ll be back imo

To be fair..I wasn’t in a mental position to be making logical life decisions or statements yesterday either.

Maybe it is that he doesn’t want him to bring in a transfer and “have them compete” for the spot next year. It’s a tough ask for Kirby. No telling what is going on.

def felt a FU if you don't want me now vibe...

I paid the price for my 16 hours of hard drinking, but it was so fricking worth it.

NIL has nothing to do with coaches or their decisions unless you're off making personal appearances instead of practicing.
Stetson is somewhat of a national brand and the biggest name (non Saban) in CFB...at least for the time being.

He will be worth more money being a Dawg

I don’t for a second think some of these NIL opportunities aren’t pigeon holed for players as defined by staff.
The other factor could be staff accepting any QB portal transfers or not.

Perhaps but he'll get a shite load of national offers. It won't be that shady shite like A&M and Texas.
It's the real intention of NIL.

Don't believe that for a second unless it interferes with their FB schedule.
NIL's are strictly a contract between the players, their representatives and NIL entity.
At least it supposed to be.

I think he was just winding down from his all-night drinking party. He looked like he was ready to pass out.

He is enjoying the moment and still processing the whole thing. He just became one of the greatest stories in the history of college football. I mean, f*ck Rudy, Stetson just became the hero of the greatest underdog story in all of college football and one of the greatest in American sports.
