can see Kirby sitting in his office thinking "What should I do for the bowl game, I am at a loss. Oh I know, I will do what Saban does and have my team focused prepared and expecting to win. Why didn't I think of that myself?"

Too bad Kirby didn't think like that in the Sugar Bowl v Texas.

Why would Ojulari opt out? Is it a COVID related option?

(Sigh)...Ojulari now opting out.

I'm comfortable rolling with Adam Anderson, Nolan Smith, Mekhail Sherman, and Robert Beal.
Our most common defensive formation only has 1 out there at a time, anyway.

We may have asked him to.
Prepare for the combine/draft.
And we need scholarship spots for the 19 or 20 EEs.

We really need Ojulari to go 1st round to help our recruiting. Anything we can do to help him, we support.

I mean, depth on the edge is one of those positions you absolutely need to win close games.

On the other hand, I’m interested to see how Nolan Smith and Adam Anderson perform with full-time reps.

We use 3 DL most often in our 4 man front. That means Malik Herring and Travon Walker will most often be rotating that other end opposite Nolan Smith/Adam Anderson. Tyreque Stevenson will be in the other linebacker spot (nickel/star).

In more obvious passing downs, it will be Anderson and Smith on the ends (where holding the edge isnt as detrimental).

I think the Dawgs don’t come to play.

If JT is playing they're going out to put on a show.

This isn't a "shoulda been in the playoff" type season. It's been a "we get to play football!" type of year.

Imaging being a receiver or TE in this game? How many chances have you really had to show your stuff? Imagine guys in the front 7 who will be getting 50% more snaps?

These guys will be motivated.

Devonte Wyatt may return next year.

Predictable. He's likely going first round.
