We just have to beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa in game 3 of the season but otherwise it's a cakewalk.

Well...there is Missouri at Columbia MO and South Carolina at Columbia SC.

By that point, Kirby's recruiting should be really kicking in, though.

2021 anyone?

Unless Fromm stays, I see us taking a step back.

Wasn´t 2019 supposed to be THE year?

Seriously, it was, wasn´t it?

Not dagger twisting, just trying to get clarification from this board´s experts.

Yes, but Nauta, Hardman, and Ridley all leaving early, along with losing Godwin to graduation, derailed the offense a bit. Breaking in all these new WR and a new OC threw a wrench into the plans.

Hardman is the only one that has made it, rest made a terrible decision.

Seriously, people who point to a year as "THE year" are morons. Unless you're alabama you can't ever go into a summer saying "yep, this is it. We're going undefeated and winning the title this year". Sure some years may be better top to bottom than others but if you go into a season expecting to win a title you're only going to keep letting yourself down with nobody else to blame.

Ridley was already vaulted pretty high, I don’t fault his choice at all. Nauta made a big mistake.

Lots of wtf early dismissals that did our passing game zero favors.

Past history dictates that we are competing for national titles on a 5 year schedule, so 2022

Really though it could be this year. Our team is going to get better starting this week

Agree! That loss was the only chance UGA has at beating the November Amen Corner on this schedule. My only hope is it doesn’t make our coaches practice and drill our current offense for consistency and excellence (meaning same approach but try to eliminate mistakes only) and makes them scheme a little bit.

Do you just wallow in negativity?

Are you only happy when you're miserable?

Do you freakin EVER have any answers?

Wow I completely forgot about Holloman. Now that I really think about it, Fromm has been put in a tough spot.

No team has ever made the playoffs without returning 2 of their top 3 receivers...

Based on a really, really small sample size. That doesn't mean it won't bear out over the years, but there isn't much to go on yet.

I thought it would be our best shot with Swift, Fromm, and Thomas. But I also thought we'd lose one to ND, AU, or AM.
