This is awesome. Great for recruits to hear. Should help us a lot with the next couple of classes. What a wise fan base we have.

Given the reactions of the fan base I wouldn't be shocked if half the team was pissed about Richt leaving and don't like Kirby.

I have it on good sources that absolutely none of this is true.
Older guys have bought in to what he is saying and are ushering new guys in. Just isn't clicking yet. Please name one older guy that seems bitter about "losing his spot" to a younger guy.

Whatever it is,it is surely showing up in players attitudes.I love and respect the hell outta Nick Chubb,but you have to admit his short consise answers to the media are even shorter,but he needs to know yet gets even tougher at the next level

I'm not buying it. Sounds like a shitty excuse for a shitty team. Let's keep it simple, the coaches get out coached and the players are not executing. There is no end in sight because the polos on the sideline and players are not progressing at all.

I agree but the boss gets paid to keep those disgruntled employees producing. That's really all he's there for. If coaching was just recruiting better players, we should've just got a good salesman and saved about 3.5 million dollars.

This type of thing isn't uncommon. It happened at LSU in 00 with saban and at Bama in 07 with saban.
The regime change to being non player friendly and more process oriented causes some tension and it causes some bad losses.
LSU lost to UAB in 00, Bama had that horrible nov in 07. I think Kirby can get it together. If he is putting in the process that saban has put in it LSU and Bama then Kirby will right the ship. It will just take a year or two after this once you get rid of the soft culture.

Being a HC at a major program is largely being a salesman. Between recruiting, tv and radio appearances, maintaining booster relationships, fundraising, etc., most of their time is spent on things other than technique and x's and o's.

True. But you have the same in the job force. Bosses change all the time. You either adjust or you get shown the door. People face changing circumstances (Job, boss, etc) their whole life.

Cool, help me out with some names then. Because I remember seniority being a major problem before Pruitt got here. Although, maybe Grantham played some young guys when he took over.
