USuCk is so confident in a win they are already discussing what excuses we will make when they beat us. You can't make this stuff up folks.

Misleading thread title. I honestly thought someone got injured.

This seems fairly typical of South Carolina. But we caused this under Richt. We lost to them more than we should have, including when the talent differential said it shouldn't have been as close. The series became a hell of a lot more competitive than made sense.

But this is why Smart is now at UGA and Richt is gone. With Richt's teams, no matter the talent, you always had to wonder how many different things we might screw up mentally.

Jesus dude...

My heart sank for a minute thinking we lost someone to injury. Instead, you're linking us a busch league troll's thread on 247's specific Gamecock board

“This game actually wasn’t a take for us” is pretty funny IMO.

We have such a decisive advantage in the trenches over them the only hope the cocks have is if our young RB'S give it up, turnovers.

If somehow we do lose this game, I'm definitely running with this post...

I think the thing I am looking forward to the most is watching DRob speed past Jamyest Williams for a TD...its gonna be glorious to watch.

Exactly. They have zero depth in the trenches and plus our OL > their DL and our DL > their OL. They might hang with us for a half but that's it.

We will be up by 2 touchdowns or more by half.

It has to suck to have the football history of Vanderbilt, but the bravado of Alabama. I'll enjoy watching the Dawgs absolutely lay waste to them in that shithole stadium.

You mean the Cock-Roach Motel?

To be quite honest... I can't tell the difference...

It's gonna be like the game in 2016, we're going to ram it down their throats and bleed the clock. Bentley can sling it, so they're going to put up points but we get by with a semi-convincing win and a necessary wake up call for the season to motivate us.

I agree with this, but make no mistake about it, Muschamp has built their DLine up into a good unit. We have an elite Oline, but we are not terribly, terribly far ahead of their Dline. We really shine at depth. That is the biggest difference.

They seem to play us close, too, especially at SC.
There have been 1 or 2 blowouts, but more often than not it is a close hard fought game.

Let the downvotes rain!

Are you saying our OL depth is the difference?

I'm saying our overall depth gives us an advantage. OLine depth is not the only difference, but we are probably deeper all across the board. Their starters are talented, but depth behind those starters is what will be the biggest difference.

Yes, we have more star talent at almost every position, but depth is what will set us apart. Just my opinion.

I'd say USC has the advantage in their WR vs our young secondary and I think that plus home field and Bentley being 1 year better has cock fans optimistic they can keep it close....and they might.

Baker vs Deebo is a true NFL matchup.

But I have more faith in our defense getting more stops consistently then theirs.

I agree with all of this. Especially the home field advantage.
