I don't post much so excuse me if this is a shitty thread or has already been started 20 times this week .

Just curious on what is dawgrant's expectations for the team this year?

Obviously - we all want to not lose a game, bumfrick bama in the SECCG, and destroy CUM/OSU in the NC game, but realistically - what do y'all think is going to happen?

I see the following...

Clemson - WIN
USCe - LOSS (Emotional high from beating clemson. I hate OBC vs Richt games. Also, techo music.
Troy - WIN
UT - WIN
Vandy - WIN
Missouri - WIN
Arkansas - WIN
Florida - WIN
Kentucky - LOSS - Kentucky sucks, but I see this is a trap game. Besides, Mark Stoops is a decent coach and they have been recruiting well.
Auburn - WIN
Charleston Southern - WIN.
Tech - WIN

So 10-2 with a possible SECCG game appearance.

Again guys - this is just my realistic expectation based on witnessing years of heartbreakes and choking. I do hope I'm 100% wrong and we win the Natty.

If this is a loss, then we're going to lose a lot more than two games. They are absolutely terrible

Damn it..I knew I was going to get some responses for picking UK.

It makes sense that Arky or UT will be the more conventional/logical trap games, but....this is UGA we're talking about.

I'm not confident in this game AT ALL. They whooped us at home last year and will be ready for revenge from us introducing them to old man football. I'm thinking a loss on this one fellas.

I think we beat USC and Clemson but loose to Florida that's our trap game UT should be a revenge for the losses we had there last year . Hopefully Marshall gives them the game Of his career if not Chubb will

Missouri was also a fluke of a team last year. Everything that could go right for them did, including playing a UGA team using walk on skill players (and it was still a very close game until late fourth quarter), the worst UF team in forever, and they didn't have to play Alabama or LSU out of the West. This year, they're replacing Franklin, their top three WRs, and the entire pass rush that made that defense better than it should have been. This is a program that consistently got their teeth kicked in in the Big 12 when they had high expectations, and was at their best when they weren't talked about much. After last season, they'll have everyone's full attention.

If that's the case, Gurley is injured and not getting carries and our season is screwed.

I can see us easily losing to Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Vandy, Arkansas, Florida, and Auburn, but I can also see us winning all of those games too. I don't have great expectations for the year.

My expectations are getting more and more tempered which, truth be told, is the reverse of how it usually works

The thing is that if we're bad enough to lose to UK (even in a trap game), we're looking at like 7-5 at best.

Good enough to beat anybody.

Not good enough to beat everybody.

I agree we'll lose two.

No telling who it will be.

The following teams are all in flux... Tenn, Ark, SC, Florida, Mizz, Clemson, all rebuilding alot.

Auburn's luck is going to run out at some point, but they'll still be damn good.

Not worried about Vandy or Kentucky.

Clemson - WIN
USC - WIN (Key losses on D, breaking in new QB)
Troy - WIN
UT - Toss Up (Trap Game)
Vandy - WIN
Missouri - WIN
Arkansas - WIN
Florida - Toss Up(New Offense, Will be better on Oline)
Kentucky - WIN
Auburn - Toss up( Offense is a well oiled machine)
Charleston Southern - WIN.
Tech - WIN

Im thinking 10-2 but 9-3 is very possible.

I agree man, but at the same time, I can see UGA beating Arky and UT by a good margin, but then losing to UK

I'd like to think so. I think 9-3 is our finishing record and I end up angry.
