That and Lamont Gaillard was much bigger loss for us than almost anyone anticipated.40+ game starter and captain who was in the program for 5 years.

There was no effort made to adjust rush schemes, at all. Run it up the middle 30 times with no wrinkles in blocking schemes and hope for the best seemed to be the strategy.

With the lack of RB/WR screens, coupled with the lack of OL traps or slides, really makes me wonder if there was concern for the health of the OL coming into this one and the decision was made to play especially conservative against a subpar opponent.
