Missouri was number 2 in the SEC in rush defense. After the AU game, they are 9th. That running game is no joke.

Mizzou had a solid defense, but it wasn't close to the caliber of FSU's. These guys have been recruiting very well for several years and now have the staff in-place to do something with it. Winston was the missing piece on offense.

Bank on FSU playing to stop the run and forcing Auburn to beat them in the air. Difference between how that game plan works for them versus how it worked for us is FSU has the best secondary in the country.

I do bet..regularly...have never been wrong. ..and im a trillionaire .....

Auburn wins by a touchdown..battle tested...innovative coach with a freaky running game..and jesus himself as the 12th man.....

I didnt know what the duke spread was..I think everyone favored the noles heavily....alot of wishful thinking maybe...

29.5. Don't know how the betters bet, but nobody here was taking it.

Honestly, I agree with you here. I really don't think AU matches up well against FSU at all. FSU has SEC athletes and depth. It will be a high scoring affair no doubt, but I just don't think the "defense" that was (not) present in ATL today will be able to stop FSU at all.

And that is key, too. If FSU can score at-will against Auburn, as Mizzou did until they ran out of gas in the 4th, defenses could be moot. I'd still take FSU's over Auburn's any day. Both teams have good offenses. Only one of them has anything resembling a good D.

With Auburn's luck, the prosecutor finds new evidence against Winston and he gets indicted just hours before the game.

Is this something new? They already poach west and south GA.

Give the devil credit. The program realized Chiz was a mistake, fired him, hired the offensive mastermind and is back in the hunt. Impressive set of balls -- something apparently lacking in the AD's office.

They did not score at will on Duke. Duke got tired but played them well early on.

Yeah, I like Auburn in this game. It's hard to pick against them at this point. FSU has a good D, but they've been playing lowly ACC teams. We'll see how it stacks up vs AU.

This FSU team will go down as one of the great teams in recent college history. They have NFL players everywhere and have already stuffed an offense similar to what AU runs (Clemson). Winston will do whatever he damn well pleases against Auburn and there won't be anything they can do about it. Kelvin Benjamin, Rashad Greene, Kenny Shaw, Nick O'Leary....who is gonna cover those guys?

Fun FSU stat: Their average margin of victory this season is the biggest for any team since World War II. People are underestimating how good this team really is.

Yep, I find myself green with envy. We are like a dawg on a leash routinely reaching the every day dawg food near the dawg house but always out of reach of the treat.
