I have to say - I don't understand what anyone has seen out of Missouri this year to warrant predictions of a semi-blowout. They have hovered right around mediocre. At least we have shows flashes of something more.

are some of yall going for some kinda reverse jinx or do you honestly think we'll lose by a couple scores?

I'm not saying you're wrong or that it can't happen, I'm just curious if that's what you really believe.

Those people likely haven't seen missouri..at all. We aren't very good but here is what missouri has done:

-SE Miz St- blowout win
-Arkansas St- 7 point win
-UCONN- 3 point win
-Kentucky- 8 point loss
-SC- 14 point win
-Florida- 18 point loss

Missouri hasn't shown a single thing all year to suggest that they will beat us at home at night by multiple TDs.

Sony seals it with a 50+ yard TD run as we're running the clock out with 3 minutes left

I looked over their results thus far and came to the same conclusion. I thought I was being conservative by predicting 31-21 dawgs.

their strength (defense) vs our weakness (offense)
means we don't score offenseively a lot..defense has to score some and I bet their defense scores at least one score as well..

their offense is improving, our offense is imploding ( and we've apparently forgot who Jeb Blasovich is)and our defense has some key injuries..their defense can rush the passer , ours can't ..

sounds like a straight up loss to me.

Our offense aint great but it's not like we can't score. Adn their offense is atrocious.

For us to win, you think we HAVE to score non-offensively and you think they're defense will score at LEAST once as well?

their offense is improving

based on what exactly? They just scored THREE points last week! They scored 24 on the SC team we put up 50 on. Week before that they scored 1 TD on kentucky and the week before that they scored single digits on fricking uconn.

Their offense might be the worst we will see all year.

sure we can, we've just struggle with it recently.

Are far as intangibles go..Saturdya will be the first game we've played on a dry field in a month and our first night game at home since Auburn.

sounds like a straight up loss to me

if you think maybe the 2nd worst team on our SEC scheudle sounds like a loss, why even watch the games? What joy do you get from these games? Why not give your tickets to someone who will get some use out of them?

so, WG, you agree with me that we've totally forgotten Blaze?..

I don't go to the games anymore for most reasons actually not involving our stupid coach..

TV, recliner, cerveza, and expertly executed homecookin works for me so well now.

UT played the 2nd half with 2 true freshman o-lineman. They never slowed down. I'm at a loss.

almost. If the O/U was set at 14.5 or so for this game most of us (myself included) would've thought vegas was smoking crack.

Oh that was crispy's prediction. I thought UGA would win a close game but figured there'd be TDs by both teams.

I was pleasantly surprised by our defense (and yes, I acknowledge that Mizzou's offense is horrible). But that is surpassed by how horrified I am watching our offense. Good lord they're painful to watch.
