I don't know anything about his decision, but he quit on his team just as they're about to enter the playoffs. He's not reliable as a teammate or a person. Maybe that will change as he matures, but UGA needs players they can depend on for the next 40 days. Better to find out now than later that Tuggle's not the guy, and give somebody else the practice reps.

I agree
Not sure why this happened.

I’d like to understand why you think that as well.

Only receiver with hands + separation ability
Name a receiver who has both of those or even one?
Arian has separation but no hands (btw, not debatable)

I'm not trying to be argumentative but honestly how would you know this? He's played like a dozen snaps all year and we've thrown him the ball a couple times. Honestly there is zero way at all to know his catching or separating ability at this level.
IMO, if a guy quits before his true freshman season has even ended, we don' want him anyway. Because he's either 1) a mercenary who will only play for whoever pays him the most prior to each season, or 2) lazy and not wanting to put in teh work and time to rise up the depth chart.

Exactly. I think he’s got potential but he’s not there yet. I also distinctly remember him nonchalantly dropping a slant in the umass game early when it was close. And in the SECCG on Etienne’s first TD, he basically stands there like he’s not sure whether he’s supposed to sell a fake route or block. Those are the types of things that keep you off the field.

I think it’s unlikely that he’s a big loss. It’s not like our WR depth chart was that daunting this season.

Could be options 1 or 2 but you can see when he is on the field, he is an AD Mitchel type.
Even with dozens of snaps the difference can be seen.
With Bell and Lovett, its like watching paint dry on the field.
We all would be in favor of giving Nitro a shot over those two guys. Not gonna happen, Kirby has an extreme loyalty factor and generally waits for the scenario to work out the issue rather than make changes. I.E. via injury

that is A LOT of hyperbole. He made one, maybe two, nice catches against Tenn. I think they were on slant routes, nothing crazy. I believe he also dropped a ball that hit him in the hands against tech.
I just don't know how you can come to all these glowing reviews abotu a guy that's only played like 2 minutes of real game time all season. Someone like Frazier against clemson that comes out with a bang? Ok yeah you can look at that guy and tell something. There simply isn't anything abotu tuggle to suggest he'd be any better than the guys already out there.

which part is exaggeration as it relates to the other WR's in comparison to Nitro ?
Bell and/or Lovett have shown they should stay at 1's ?

Just heard Dylan Raiola entered the portal.
Now, THAT, was a dodged bullet.

or 3) Colbie Young will definitely be back for the playoffs and he won't see the field again.
It sucks because he looks to have a nice upside, given time.
He's from up north, so maybe he's homesick?

AD Mitchell actually played a lot and made plays as a freshman, unlike Nitro.

Is the Raiola thing true? Google and 247 aren't reporting him entering the portal.
