Not likely IMO. He was overhyped from the start by the vol media machine. Definitely fast and quick, but also small, short catch radius. The biggest knock on him is that he hasn't improved as a pass catcher. I think we can do better.

I'm all for as many receivers as we can afford. Something has to improve there. If they like Squirrel, my thoughts are probably wrong.
One other thing that I do remember is that he blocks like a squirrel too. You may recall the play from last year (I think) where either Bullard or Tykee tossed the squirrel aside on the perimeter and stuffed the play for no gain.

Imma sure your analysis is spot on... 
Just having a lil fun with his name.
Seems he was better 1-2 yrs ago and has regressed a good bit.

I just saw this on the Rant. He's from Lilburn and was recruited by McLendon. He took an unofficial and an official visit to UGA during his recruitment.
Unless he's just shopping for the highest bidder, I'd assume we have a good shot at him.

I agree, but you pointed out one particular player as if he was the only one that's played poorly this year.
Also, poor play by receivers (Alabama loss), injuries to starting linemen(Ole Miss loss), and lack of usual depth(tighter game scores) affected him and thus caused very inconsistent offensive results over the course of the season.

Personally, would rather have Thomas than Branch. We need a big bodied X receiver in a bad way. Has much more speed than Colbie Young. Think he would do well here.
