I watched him get beat as much or more than #6. He was pulled from the UT game after looking completely lost and getting a PI penalty.

I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to base it on, other than the way cfb is these days, but I've had a bad feeling about robinson for months. Guys that talented and that highly rated with that much potential typically don't ride the bench the entire year without transferring immediatley after.
If we can hang onto him despite his lack of PT this year it would be enormous.

I don’t fully blame him for that. As much as it’s shitty and encourages quiting, there’s a huge advantage to doing it ASAP. Every coach in the country right now is having similar positions with fringe players.

It's not really a blame issue. I just don't like a system where the biggest donors can build a roster and wreck potential opponents' rosters, with no downside. Even during the season. It seems unlikely now, but the only way to change that is either some disincentive to transfer or some disincentive to take a transfer. Sitting out a year with no loss of eligibility seems reasonable to me, but that'll never happen.
