For the first time in 2 years our QB and WR's will have the summer to work together knowing who the starting QB will be. Last year I would imagine most returning starters (McKenzie, Godwin, Blazevich) spent much of their time with Lambert. Two years ago everyone thought Ramsey was the favorite to win the job and probably spent most of their time with him.

This year Eason is set in stone, and we have lots of returning experience in the WR's and TE with some exciting newcomers. This, coupled with a year of experience for Eason I think will make us have one helluva passing game next season. Go Dawgs!

I'm done sipping the kool aid.

Eason could throw for 4,000 yards and 50 touchdowns and I'd still be wary of passing it based off my PTSD of the past 2 years.

Jake Fromm will be the starter by November at the latest.

Doubtful, but if so, it was an injury or a bad season for the team.

I'll give you this much: When you make your shitty predictions, you sure as hell stand by them.

Eason is starting until he leaves barring injury.

If Fromm was a dual-threat QB with the associated speed, I could actually see him taking the starting job. He's not. Fromm has good size but is a smaller version of the pro-style QB which is Eason. I will qualify this statement by saying that if Eason's accuracy doesn't improve and Fromm is extremely accurate, then I would be all for Fromm as our starter. I just don't see that happening with Fromm as a true Freshman transitioning into the college game.

Never said that. I said Eason is inaccurate with his passes and is late in throwing the ball. Had he thrown that dinky little pass in the Tech game accurately we would have gotten the 1st down and probably won the game.

Although he isn't especially fast, Fromm did have a game where he rushed for more than 100 yards. Fromm has a mobility advantage over Eason and he is used to taking hits.

Eason was awesome World in the G-Day game where he was protected but, in games that count, he threw a lot of late, wobbly off target passes. Most disturbing was Eason's inability to hit even the easiest swing passes.

I think Fromm has a real chance to compete and win the position battle if Eason doesn't make substantial improvement.
