Goes about as deep as the original comment. I don't see how killing a group of cells is anyway close to killing a person

If it is not the same as murder (remotely the same) then why can someone be charged with a double homicide if they kill a pregnant woman? Our laws are fraught with double standards.

Stealing property from one person and giving it to someone else is also immoral. Just like abortion.

This country is pretty rotten...if you think about it.

After 8 years of idiotic executive actions we need to have crazy to undo the stupidity. I will support the Repulician but I actually hope it is Trump. He knows business and he is not owned by anyone behind the curtain. It would be nice to have someone trying to do good and what the people want instead of what their donors want.

Did you know that the baby's heart begins beating in the first trimester? Pretty good for a bunch of cells, huh?

Did you know that a baby has fingers at 2 months? most women are not even sure they are pregnant at that point.
They actually have fingerprints at 3 months.

So, if someone is in a car accident and does not have brain activity....they are not human?

Please explain how killing a child in your belly is not murder.

To expand on that, just because science can't detect a heartbeat doesn't mean it doesn't exist yet. What we have found out with science is that the timeline for when we chose to believe life actually exist changes with every scientific discovery. We also know that after 9 months, a child is born so whatever we are killing in her stomach is in fact a future human.

This doesn't even take into discussion of late term abortions and abortions that they are doing post 12 weeks after we know scientifically that a child has a heartbeat and it's perfectly legal.

The guy wanted Bill Gates to help him " shore up" the internet. The guy who doesn't own Microsoft anymore. The guy who had nothing to do with the internet.

Regardless, he's seriously suggesting he wants to put limits on what is said on the internet.

This guy is so far out to lunch, it's silly that people take him seriously.

What jump? His argument is that there is no brain activity, therefore it is not human, is it not? If brain activity is what defines us being human.....

I am showing you that at 2 months the baby has fingers and at 3 months fingerprints. At four months bone and cartilage have already begun to form.

And your point is?

I wasn't aware that was the requirement for murder

Who cares about organs, fingers, heartbeat...no brain acitivty, not murder

These are not fully developed, conscious humans. It's tissue. Abortion is only legal when the fetus is no where near close to being fully developed.

But some people say life begins at conception, but I dunno about that.

People would vote for him out of anger, though his politics have been all over the map. He has swayed on important topics such as religion, abortion, etc. I wont go so far to say he is a democratic plant but I see what people mean. I don't like him, personally. I have family who support him but again its just because they are angry at Obama more than anything. I like a good medium. I am conservative but we have to be reasonable in choosing. Ted Cruz is probably going to win the nomination in my opinion and he has a lot of boxes checked for me but he just seems so much like a politician (even his hand and face gestures). I like Ben Carson as a person the most and Fiorina is by far the most eloquent speaker. I just wish Ronald Reagan was still here

Actually it is at 12 weeks.

Generally speaking, the first measurable brain waves can be captured on an electroencephalogram (EEG) around the 12th week of pregnancy.
