Not many cities warn you to not visit historic sites....in the daytime...unless you're with a group. I got that warning about some of the cemeteries in NO during a pre Katrina trip.
Just sayin..

The area is abysmal. I remember after Bobby's last game, we were driving by that area under 75 by the stadium and an entire lot had had their windows bashed in and shite stolen.
But then the Phillips/Dome area is still lacking. hopefully the CFB HOF will give it some extra punch but they really need to pursue this whole "Gorge" renovation with a vengeance. Some nice connection between the major areas of the city would go a long way

Louisiana can provide that. Don't hate on the state just cause of the NO.
Camps on the Tickfaw are awesome. Lafayette, and sorounding towns are really cool. Places around Thibodeaux are nice. You can find many places that are beautiful in Louisiana.

funny story
there is a nudist colony somewhere outside Covington. a guy I worked with used to drive a mosquito truck for the parish
He always used to say "you've never been so appreciated and celebrated until you've driven a mosquito truck through a nudist camp"

In south LA, no doubt. It's why you screen out the porch.

No contest.......... New Orleans wins. I mean.........At least there's an identity there, whereas, Atlanta is basically just one big traffic-clogged filthy shopping mall ...........................And I say that as a native Georgian.
Better-Question: If the hoods of Atlanta and the hoods of New Orleans met in a gigantic vacant lot...... who would win?...And why?
My money would be on Atlanta.
***This is not a complement, either.

The 9th ward would own this. Iraq would have trouble with the 225.

The 9th ward deserves respect, but if the commanding officer of the Atlanta hood is worth his salt.....he'll put East Point on those frickers, with College Park as back-up.
.........and Fulton County probably would never even have to break a sweat.

If they kill each other completely then WE win

We come back with the entire West Bank, plus the 5 stars from Westwego, bring out Kenner brah, and tap in to Metrie. Yatt's outa control=no fricking chance.

.....At which point, the atlantans retreat to Piedmont Park and take up trenches. While...........General Quantavious sends 10,000 of Bankhead's finest up the 285 corridor on a flanking pattern.
And.........this is still just the first responders we're talkin about here.
East ATL lies in wait..........bitch.

We got LaPlace and the entire Hahnville area waiting on a call. I don't even want to bring Slidelle into this.
Plus, you underestimate the West Bank. They like Sparta in 300.
Ya'll fricked.

Throw in Scotlandville and Port Allen/Plaquemine, along with North BR reserves, and we are looking at a holecaust on Atlanta.
If the fight was done in LA, we don't need anything bit Nawlins and the West Bank IMO. If we travel, we travel like the Persians.
Strongest hood army ever assembled.

East Point and College Park? WTF? Can't even hold a candle to The Bluff (look it up)...good luck.
