Reporting is obviously off. Ours is, too. We only have like 9 inpatient right now and 18 or so outpatient. We just started testing everyone that's inpatient so I expect a pretty sharp increase in the number of positive cases inpatient over thre next few days.

SC just issued a state wide stay at home order for non-essential businesses. I was expecting this sooner or later.

Sorry I only have one upvote to give. This is the root of the problem. Those crooks run away with multi million dollar bonuses every year.

I said the same about 20 pages ago and was downvoted to oblivion

Obamacare. That lost a lot of $ for hospitals.
I better get a lot of upvotes from the maga’s for this one post.

Yes they would be treated as Invevtory. PPE are long term assets that are held over a year and depreciated.
They are more than likely treated as inventory since they are used by the doctors to generate revenue.
The gowns might be considered PPE but I doubt they are in use over a year. They would ge expensed on the IS as cost of service and not depreciated expense.
They aren't PPE.
PPE means Plant (building etc), property (office furniture, vehicles, etc.), and Equipment (machines, beds, etc.).

Whatever stupid fricking acronym you're trying to make a point with doesn't make a mask, gown and gloves not personal protective equipment. It's PPE. It may also not be PPE in whatever dumb shite context you're trying to use it in but in the context of medicine, it's PPE.
They aren't PPE.

I have built some hospitals, but do not know a lot about their day to day side other than drinks with their bigwhigs. With that said, my understanding is PPE means anything that is personal protection equipment...which would be throw away or reusable. Not sure if the accounting side has them separated by asset type, but the definition of PPE is pretty clear and gloves are certainly PPE.

China has lifted their quarantine and other restrictions. There is media on the ground that shows this. Initially I thought their numbers were fraudulent, but based on evidence it seems they're legitimate.
I don't know what you are reading but some estimates say they lowered their true numbers by 15 to 40%.
China is the reason the world is in this mess.
1. They allow those unregulated wet markets to exist... the source of a number of pandemics.
2. They denied the existence of and tried to cover up the virus.
3. They allowed it to break containment.
4. They downplayed both the severity and how contagious it was ... leading many nations to be slow to react with awful consequences.
China has a reckoning coming from many nations around the world which explains why they have been so aggressive with their propaganda (lies).

No way. Our millionaires who gave China production for their pockets aren’t gonna give up that money.

Days After a Funeral in a Georgia Town, Coronavirus ‘Hit Like a Bomb’ Coronavirus exploded in quickly in Albany after a February 29 funeral. That speed convinces me that this virus Wasn't in the US before late December or early January.
