Death rate worldwide is currently 3.4% despite Deeprig’s careful selection of countries in early stages. I’m not saying panic as I’m surely not.

Seems like most estimates are 1% when factoring potential untested.

NCT along with about 100 Koreans sat down at the gate next to me and all proceeded to board my plane. I am so fricked.

Can you tell me how many people they have tested that are not 55+ of age or those with pre-existing conditions? This thing is exactly what the CDC is anticipating. deathrate will be higher for those 65+ or pre-existing conditions (same with ever respiratory virus), but remain at .1% of all those that contract it. READ!!!! Don't listen to the media hype or the panicdemic maniacs out there

Even if middle age and younger fans wouldn't face really serious peril at games, if they get infected they are a danger to older people. Event planners have to worry about the entire population.

I'm just posting factual data from Johns Hopkins.
You continue posting a bunch of blithering conspiracy bullshite based on incomplete data, I'll stick to Science.

No, seems like most estimates are .01% when factoring potential untested.

Then why do event planners continue to have events during flu season every year? Flu kills tens of thousands of seniors every year.

The reason there seems to be a Left/Right divide on this is, in my opinion, the Left tends to trust (and worship, in some cases) the media and government institutions, while the Right tends to distrust (and hate, in some cases) the media and government institutions.

If you trust and love the media and the government, then you are hook/line/sinker on pandemic.

If you distrust and hate the media and government, then you think it's too much hyperbole and fearmongering.

Let's sit back and see who is correct on this one...

No, that's not possible. If CV ends up being a 0.01% death rate, the Left will still say "It killed xx,xxx people, that doesn't matter to you? This was a huge deal! Thank God we overreacted or it would have killed millions!"

Vandy cancelling classes for the week, going online classes until end of the month.

Makes them, Stanford, and Washington so far. With UGA on Spring Break this week, wouldn’t be surprised if a decision to do the same in Athens is made by end of the week before students return to campus

Probably because there is a vaccine that limits its spread, there is a proven treatment, and it doesnt cause ARDS in olds as often as this virus appears to do.

By no means am I panicking, but I’m definitely a little concerned. My three year old was diagnosed today with pneumonia and we have St. Patrick’s day in just over a week.

On a side note, Merrill Lynch won’t let me bring clients to the office for the next month which I find ridiculous.

I thought the locals did their best to avoid that shitshow regardless of pandemic circumstances...

You should spend more time in the field anyway. Hit the bricks, because it's frick or walk.
