Ha! The ultimate in pot --> kettle. It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathological. Has there ever been a President who spews hate and dishonesty to pander to his base as much as Trump has? I would say no.

Get some insight...and an anger management course when things reopen.

Every curve I have looked at has the C19 killing 5 to 20 times the H1N1. C19 is way ahead of H1N1 globally now on the same time curve. Some of the outlier curves have it killing 100 x

Yes, the Trump administration has responded more quickly and with more action steps to deal with this pandemic. I'm just tired of the hateful Trump bashing by partisan hacks.

It's easy for you to set personal goals without you having to take public action steps. President Trump is in a very difficult position of trying to save lives while balancing our response to preserve our economic well being. The hardship created by the economic disaster might easily be more than the direct impact of the virus.

Until you factor in the insane amount of incomplete data.

Like when it turns out that this thing didn’t come close to starting in late December in China and somehow was killing elderly folks just 3 weeks later in Seattle, because it had really already been here and traversing the globe since early 2019, and tens of millions of people had it, lived through it just fine, and now have antibodies to it.

The mortality rate is going to be below 1% on this thing when this is done, and that curve is going to look a lot like the last 10 “new virus” curves, as it levels off to become a typical seasonal virus similar to the flu.

Im becoming disgusted by Kemp's handling of this. Why are we only testing a thousand people a day while shite states like Louisiana are doing 9000?

I liked his measured response in the beginning but without widespread testing, the lockdown goes on much longer than possibly needed, because you don't have the data to lift it.

Every day that Louisiana releases more test results than Georgia, is another slap in the face.

Its got to be more than 1000. My wife, who’s a nurse at Kennestone, said they easily tested at least 200-300 people there yesterday alone. That’s just one hospital.

Yea, the estimates by the "experts" have not been very accurate so far. And as you said, millions more people have been exposed to this thing that have been tested so far. And yea, a year from now the death rate for Coronavirus will probably look a lot N1V1 with more complete data.

General thought on this whole mess...

Could we look at yearly averages during flu season for the timeframe from 2014-2018 to see how many sick and elderly died from flu vs natural causes due to complications from pneumonia...then compare the same data to this flu season and see if there is a spike in pneumonia related deaths this year, say from September 2019 til now?

I think that would go a long way in telling us exactly how long it's been here. Once antibody tests start happening wide-scale, I think it's entirely possible we find out a lot of people who "haven't had corona" already have antibodies.

At this point, even the fear mongering death lords are conceding that.

I would like to see more testing also because I would guess that a lot more people have been exposed to this thing than generally believed many of whom have already developed antibodies to counter it.

Gwinnett announced their lockdown yesterday. Like everyone else's lockdown, 70% of shite is still open. Yet this morning my wife's co-worker was stopped by GCPD and questioned about where she was going. Wearing scrubs at 7:30 in the morning maybe cops thought she was headed to a secret rave?

The most important datasets are total deaths and the growth rate of daily deaths. Those two datasets are fairly accurate although the cause some respiratory fatalities is never determined. In Albany at least 12 people who died at home were never tested.

There is little doubt that COVID19 is more infectious and more deadly than any recent flu virus but we can't measure those statistics accurately yet.

Look at the Global deaths by day. That number is pretty telling. 1% death rate of a much larger infection rate is going to make this a much bigger deal than H1N1.

Both sides are doing this and you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think so.
One side is doing it from an offensive posture and the other is doing it from a defensive posture.

And there is a massive difference between the two.

Left: "Russia/Putin + Trump conspired to steal the election!"

Right: Forced to defend against this lie.

Left: "Trump asked Russia to hack Hillary!!!"

Right: No, he didn't. (forced to defend this lie to this day still)

Left: "Look at this Dossier! Trump hired hookers to pee on a bed Obama slept in, and Putin has it on video and is blackmailing him to sellout the US to Russia!"

Right: Forced to defend against this made up fake bullshite paid for and manufactured by Dems.

Left: "We recommend you fire Comey for fricking over Hillary. OH shite! TRUMP FIRED COMEY! OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE!"

Right: Forced to defend against this bullshite.

Left: "Rosenstein, (the guy who recommended firing Comey), is now appointing a Special Counsel, Mueller, to investigate Trump for firing Comey. And, oops, that's not enough, so we're going to change the scope of the investigation to... well... anything we can find, as we perform 5am raids on Trump surrogates searching for anything."

Right: Forced to defend against goddamn unrelated process crimes and decade old shite that has zero to do with Trump.

Left: "Trump paid a porn star hush money!"

Right: LOL, so? But again, forced to defend against this bullshite that means nothing and effects noone.

Left: "Trump appointed a serial rapist who ran gang-rape chains on girls 40 years ago, and he likes BEER!!! *GASP*"

Right: dragged through weeks of listening to some bitch lie about this... more DEFENSE of Trump

Left: "Trump got 2 scoops of ice cream while everyone else only got 1!!! AND, he over-fed Koi fish and killed them! THAT EVIL BASTARD!!"

Right: WTF!? We didn't even have to defend against this nonsense, but we did, because this shite has hit new levels of absurdity with you TDS fricks.

Left: "Trump is banning terrorists from entering the country from only select Muslim countries! He's such a racist bigot!"

Right: "Obama did it first. The exact same goddamn thing, with virtually the same countries." More defense upon defense.

Left: "Trump is putting kids in cages!!"

Right: yeah that's a picture from 2014, you fricking dishonest morons.

Left: "Trumps tax returns!! That will show proof of....... something! We don't know what, but there's got to be something bad in them! Because he's rich and we all know rich people hide illegal stuff in their taxes!"

Right: Witch-hunt much? So the Obama IRS, that's assuredly combed through Trump's tax returns didn't find anything wrong with them, but you know there's something there? And you DEMAND to see them? Why the frick do we have to defend this shite? Why do we have to put up with your goddamn witch-hunts?

Left: "Trump bribed... err, extorted... err, made demands... err, no bribed, yeah our testing group told us to say bribed... the Ukrainian President to force him to investigate Biden!!! Oh, and ignore all that shite about Biden actually doing this on camera and actually needing to be investigated for obvious pay-for-play! It's not relevant!"

Right: More being forced to defend against bullshite, in the face of overwhelming double-standards.

And now we're on to phase #92837492374 of the "Accuse Trump of something" playbook with this virus.

It's never ending one-sided bullshite and you goddamn know it. All you frickers do is baselessly and falsely accuse of something, and the Right is forced to defend against it.

And you have the gall to call this, "both sides doing it".

GFY. This is why you're going to lose again in November. You've gone too far and normal people see it and realize the Left has gone absolutely batshit crazy and TDS is very real.

You're missing the point.

When they can eventually add in that tens of millions of people have had this virus already and didn't die, it makes your "death rate" plummet.

People testing positive does not equal the number of people who've actually had this thing.

How you don't get that is making you look like you're pushing an agenda.

And yet, you’re attacking me even though I’m someone who would consider myself a conservative for literally just saying both sides have been partisan.

You’re proving my point exactly so thank you for doing that.

The US death toll for the Coronavirus is probably going to pass H1N1 in 2-3 weeks, maybe sooner.
