Inept compared to who? No one in the world has the set of circumstances as we do as far as landmass, population, and a republic government.

We can't just shut everything down like China, and we have a shite load of people in a large area that need tests. It's not like they are fricking up something simple.

So you didn't check the testing numbers. This isn't a subjective thing. It's pitiful.

Based on the reaction we have seen, the tests would never have really helped us. That’s why this thing appears to be extra nasty. Even if we tested everyone every few days, we’d still be in the same boat. This thing is good at spreading stealthily before presenting symptoms. What we are doing now is the best way to slow it down so we can manage it better. The only other explanation for going to these extremes is there is something more diabolical about this we are not being told. Either way, more tests or anything short of border closures 4 weeks ago would not matter at this point. Enjoy your vacation.

The man who stopped the ebola virus said tonight that his team made sure to have several different sources for test kits. He was critical of the administration for not accepting the WHO test in addition to the CDC and others.

Mass testing is important because the data from mass testing reveals the virus' rate of growth. Rate of growth is measured by daily new infections over time.

Lol you don't think the size of the area you have to distribute tests over and the number of people in the country affect your testing strategy?

Thats exactly why you focus on specific areas. NYC and other large cities could have easily employed the SK model of testing had we had the tests to use and the leadership to do it. Instead, the CDC wants to maintain the face to face DR/PT relationship. I can't believe that chinstrapped idiot said that.

How has this been dishonestly reported? You said you could prove it.

If Ebola proliferated like this he would not have contained it.

If Ebola spread like this that would be a legitimate end of the humanity type scenario

So yet another agency in our bloated Federal Govt failed at its core mission at the worst possible time....just ike our security apparatus before 9/11 or regulatory body prior to the housing crisis.

Shocking.

Bloated? You mean the federal agency that Trump cut and wants to continue cutting? The CDC is not bloated, and it shouldn't be cut for obvious reasons. You know we have the types of federal agencies for a damn reason.

CDC has about 12k employees in Atlanta alone and my biggest federal account."Bloated" is an understatement.

I can't tell you how many hours and days I've wasted down there on inventory,IT and physical security issues.

Don't get my wrong, there are some very talented folks down there but way too many folks that are completely irrelevant.
